The Friday Flashback.

The Friday Flashback this week comes from May 2009. We had quite a surprise when we went into the field and wondered..........

WHO STOLE THE GRASS?

We went for our walk today and as soon as we got in the field we could see something had happened.

Flynn: Eric the grass isn't right. It's not long any more. How can we bounce around in it?

Eric: I don't know. Something strange has happened to it. I'm following a trail to see if I can find the long grass.

Eric: Nope, no sign of it.

Flynn: Well, we may as well lie down here for a while until we can work out what happened.

Eric: Yup, something's going on. I wonder if dad knows anything about it.
We'll let you know when we find out where our grass went.
********************************************************************
We are having two days off and will be back on Monday. The Beans are going away for the weekend because dad is taking part in a clay shooting competition. We don't know why he wants to shoot clay pigeons. They don't sound very tasty.

  3. The grass sure is mysterious!

Mommy is chuckling...she said first clay pigeons, then ceramic lawn ornaments!

Mommy is strange, but we don't like garden gnomes either. Maybe she's onto something...

  4. I'd check with the daddy if I were you. Clay pigeons??? Now where's the fun in that? Ask for feathery ones as a gift.

  20. It's pretty shocking that somebody would steal an entire field of grass. We hope the culprit was apprehended. We hope your beans have a fun weekend. Hunting mousies sounds like a lot more fun than hunting clay pigeons...beans sure are weird.
