The other day when Eric was rolling in the wood chip, I decided to lie there and relax.
Oh no! Here he comes!
It's like a stampede.
Phew! I'm glad your brakes worked Eric.
Several of you yesterday said you didn't realise we had KFC in the UK. We knew they had been here a long time, but didn't how long so we got mum to look it up. The first one opened in the North of England in 1965 and now there are over 800. That surprised mum and she thought there would be more as there are 6 she can think of in the Plymouth area alone.

Eric that looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteWow we didn't know you had had KFC since 1965!
purrs
Abby
You boys! Ha ha ha ha!
ReplyDeleteI missed yesterday. That's exactly what happens when our mom brings home KFC! (She sometimes resorts to eating it in the car, as if we wouldn't know!) We love fish and chips, too.
It does indeed look like a stampede ring, even if there are only two kitties inside it!
ReplyDeleteThey certainly have a good venue for a wrassling match!
Stampede and KFC, that is purrfection!
ReplyDeleteYep, mum remembers eating in a KFC in London near Picadilly last time she was there. Looking for something quick at the time, had a Phantom she had to go see.
ReplyDeleteHehehe...that stampede thing happens here sometimes too!!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Did you come over for a roll in the wood chips too, Eric?
ReplyDeleteWow, you have KFC AND stampedes there?! Now we *definitely* want to visit you boys. :)
ReplyDeleteYou two guys are funny!
ReplyDeleteOh and the Woman said if she lived in the UK, she'd be at Nandos all the time rather than KFC. She really liked that chicken!
ReplyDeleteÄiti wouldn't comment yesterday. She went off in a total sulk and hurrumphed around. So did Stran, Aila, Harris and Lewis. They were drooling over that plate. We Finncats have never heard of KFC: we think the nearest one must be in Sweden, maybe Stockholm which is hundreds of km away. But the Brits remember and say it was totally unhealthy but absolutely delicious........
ReplyDeleteAnd we love the stampede sequence! It must be pretty scary having Eric charge at you!
HaHaMeow! That's not much of a stampede! There's four of us! That's a real herd. MOL! We drooled ofur the KFC pic, too. Here, we call it "Kitchen Fresh Chicken" fur fun!
ReplyDeleteBwaa! Haa! Haa! me saw Cinnamon do that to Kozmo today!
ReplyDeleteKFC is the bestest!
Kisses
Nellie
that horse playground looks like a good place for kitties to play too.
ReplyDeleteImpressive breaking, Eric!
ReplyDeleteGood job you braked in time Eric hee he. Mummy didn't realise KFC had been here that long. Mummy likes a Twister. Simba likes the chips :)xx
ReplyDeleteWe'd love to come and roll in those chips. Pawsome!
ReplyDeleteAu likes only the top bit of KFC thighs IF you pull off the breading AND feather the meat. The other two think Fast Food is Yuck Food.
Phew! That was a close call!
ReplyDelete~Slash & Bronzy
It's hard to imagine the world without KFC. I ♥ it, which is weird because I tear off all of the fried part and throw it away and just eat the chicken. Which is totally yummy. But I live in the south, where fried chicken is "the thing" and people are all about how they fry it. But I just can't stomach the thought of eating skin, no matter how it's cooked. Ack.
ReplyDeleteThe End.
Sorry. That was a whole long story, wasn't it? hahahaha! Coffee is just starting to kick in I guess. :)
awwww you guys! dis made mama smile. she likes seeing kitties playing and happy :))
ReplyDeleteI am not surprised that there is a KFC over there across the pond. Now you have our Mom wanting some KFC. Eric sure are glad you stopped before stomping on Flynn. Hope you all have a super day.
ReplyDeleteHaha! We think it woulda been funnier if Eric's breaks didn't work!! CRASH!!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't know the Colonel had been in the UK for so long too!
Yes indeed thank goodness Eric had a recent brake inspection.. How nice of the horses to let you play in their field.
ReplyDeleteWe had no idea KFC has been in UK
Hugs madi
Nice you have a big space to run around in...with wood chips too!!!
ReplyDeleteWe'd love a good roll and tussle in those wood chips!
ReplyDeleteOur mom hasn't had KFC in at least 20 years, though there's one on the way home from work. Her restraint is admirable, but she makes up for it by the sheer quantity of chocolate she eats. :-D
Our Mum's never ever had KFC does that make her a one off? We love how you just waited to see if Eric had his brakes on Flynn - you like to live dangerously!
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
mmmmmmmmmmmm KFC rocks
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a GREAT place to have a tussle...and then when you are done playing you can go inside and fill your bellies with KFC! What more could you ask for???
ReplyDeleteMaybe nip growing wild among the wood chips....
Glad that Eric´s brakes worked so you didn´t get stampede on Flynn !
ReplyDeleteHow pawsome that y'all have KFC too. And Eric, we are VERY glad your brakes work well. Could have been a for real stampede.
ReplyDeleteDoes it feel like an earthquake when Eric thunders across the paddock like that?
ReplyDeleteInteresting about KFC. Many companies are worldwide now but in 1965 that was a bit unusual.
That was a cool bit of trivia on the state of KFC in England. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHave fun in the chips.
Purrs,
Genghis
Eric must have gotten the idea for a stampede from watching the horsies.
ReplyDeleteEric! I've been practicing up on my braking skills too! I can stop on a dime and leap!
ReplyDeleteSneak attack!
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you guys have KFC as well. But...wait until you get a Raising Cane's...you will not want KFC anymore.
