The flashback this week comes from August 2007.
This is dad's big red tractor which he drives most days. I go in and make sure everything is safe for him in there.
This is his tractor too and it is very old, in fact it's the same age as my dad and that means they are both antiques. It's called the little grey Fergie.
He usually uses his big red tractor, but he still uses this one sometimes when he wants to get into tight places.I like the red one best because it's got a nice comfy seat, and windows to let the sun in. Checking tractors is another of my mancat jobs.
I bet those tractors aren't half as good without Eric to inspect them!
ReplyDeleteYes, I wonder the same thing as Sparkle!
ReplyDeleteEric sure was a good tractor snoopervisor.
ReplyDeleteWe wonder if Flynn does tractor inspection, too? We know he does mousie extermination! MOL!
ReplyDeleteTractor snoopervision is an important job. We hope Flynn watches over the tractor too.

We loved looking back at all the things you kept in order around the farm. You were a hard worker!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that Flynn keeps the tractor seat warm for his Dad like Eric did.

I can remember when tractors looked like that - no safety cab and didn't move very fast. Nice to see one still in working order.

ReplyDeleteI've never been inside a tractor!
I bet it's fun being up so high. .. though it probably scares the mice away, huh!

ReplyDeleteAw, it's so nice seeing these photos of Eric inspecting the tractors to make sure they were in tip top shape. Does Flynn help out with that now? :)
ReplyDeleteThat was some serious, and darn good inspecting!
ReplyDeleteYou are so good to your dad and the best helper there is. I know dad loves you helping
ReplyDeleteWe bet Angel Eric still helps with the tractors.
ReplyDeleteEric you boy with your love of tractors!
ReplyDeleteThat tractor seat sure is comfy looking! Just what is needed for long days out in the fields.
ReplyDeleteEric I don't know how we missed seeing your post in our Reader but we did. So we are a bit late but still arrived here. We love this you look so handsome up on top of that tractor.
ReplyDeleteWhoa! You are one rugged mancat! Sigh!
ReplyDeleteEric, you were very good to your Dad keeping him safe like that! Flynn is probably taking over that duty for now. Love you sweet boy. xxoo
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tractor inspector Eric was, what wonderful pics.
ReplyDeleteWowzers! Tractors!!!

We love how comfortable you are around your dad's tractors, Eric. We're sure if you had thumbs you'd be a master tractor driver yourself.
ReplyDeleteAngle Eric they are some really nice tractors and good job making sure Dad is safe. Our Dad really misses doing work around the house. We still hiss at that hit and run driver who hurt him so bad all those years ago that he cannot enjoy these things.
ReplyDeleteThanks fur sharing
Watch over us dear furend
