Sunday Selfies - Pippa, (and a belated Freddie.)

I am sorry I haven't visited much lately but I have been without internet and a landline phone for 2 days. I have been trying not to use too much data on my mobile as I didn't know how long it would take to fix and didn't want to start running up big bills.
We now have the landline back, but internet is still very patchy. At least I am getting it some of the time so I will visit as and when I can.

I was going to do a selfie 2 weeks ago of the latest cat in the pen I sponsor but posted Friday Flashbacks instead for the last 2 weeks.

This is Freddie who was going to do the selfie, but the good news is that he has got his Forever Home already.
He was an older boy of 13 who lost his home when his owner died. He was only in the pen for 16 days which is the best news for him.

This week our latest sponsor cat is doing the selfie instead.
Meet Pippa!
This is what they say about her.
Pippa is extremely affectionate and loves attention. Unfortunately she is a flu carrier and this means that she can be particularly sneezy at times. Pippa is a very curious kitty who loves being outdoors exploring, and in her previous home was reported as having followed the postman and delivery men around the street. She loves to play, especially with laser lights and also likes to be groomed. She will need to be the only cat in the house, but will make a wonderful member of the family offering hours of fun and cuddles.
 Age: 2 years old
Gender: Female Breed:
DSH Colour: Black and White
Location:National Cat Adoption Centre - Sussex.

I don't know why she was surrendered and don't want to jump to conclusions that may be wrong.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if she could find her home as quickly as Freddie did!

You can find more selfies at The Cat on My Head with the Kitties Blue.

  22. What good news about Freddie, who looks a handsome, big orange fellow. It's heart-warming to see older cats going to good homes. Mine are all eleven or older, so I have a special feeling for the oldsters. (Besides, I'm not young any more either. Yikes!)

I hope, like you, that Pippa doesn't have a long stay in the pen.

  25. Pippa is a princess! You can see so much in those eyes! I can't help but wonder what idiot gave Ellie (and Pippa likewise) back. Ellie likes a lot of attention - and you mentioned Pippa followed people around the neighborhood - maybe she's very affectionate?
