Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This Flashback comes from May 2009 and is called:

Before They Went.

Don't worry, the Beans aren't deserting us again - yet. This is what happened before we were locked up.

Eric: I've heard rumours Flynn, and I've seen those nasty boxes on wheels that the Beans put all their clothes in. You know what that means don't you. I think we should check the garage out.

Flynn: Yikes your right Eric, it's all cleaned up and the carpet is going down, and did you see that pile of kitty litter bags? It can only mean one thing.

Eric: Our boxes are here as well. Hmphh, they are on top of each other. Does that mean we are having bunk beds?

Flynn: I'll check this carpet, make sure it is okay for baffing on.

Flynn: Yup, seems okay, I'll just make sure it passes the rolling test.

Eric: Our outdoor run has been moved near to the wall as well. Dad bolts the run against the garage wall so we can still get out in the fresh air.

Eric: Hey dad! Do you need a paw to push this run into place?

Flynn: Never mind about that Eric! Look what I've found.
I've got a plan. If I sit on it and refuse to move, the Beans won't be able to leave us.

Flynn: And of course, as you all know, my plan didn't work.

I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for the last Caturday Art of 2022.

I used Fairy at 40%, then added Illusion also at 40%.

Somehow those bags come out and the humans disappear. We think it's some kind of magic.

Well they both certainly look very handsome lying in the sunshine on that stone wall. Hope whatever was confusing them that day got sorted out in time for a bowl of cat food.

While your beans abandoned you(for a short while) it looks as though they made sure you would be well looked after while they were done.
Still, it's not the same without them!

There ought to be a law or something; cat-owned humans must stay in place furrever.
Off to puzzle...thanks.

All the signs were there, all right. But the best part of going away, I'll bet, was coming back to those boys...

Boys, it seems even with all your ingenious ideas, Mom and Dad still leave for vacation! But you're sure smart to come up with those ideas. Mom's catwork is pretty. Hope Mom and Dad are both well. Happy New Year, everybody! Until next year...Jean

Happy New Year to you both and to the Angels. I love this story. And I always wondered how they fared (I knew they had good care of course) but how they did without mom and dad. Si they could get out into the air when they wished. Great as this was so important to them. Must have been they did very well because they sure were themselves ever after. XX

Alas, a cat (or two) sitting on anything never prevented a Being from moving it... It's "just not right" that they can lift us up and move us so easily.

TBT says that if we were bigger we wouldn't be around in the house. Or he wouldn't. Why wouldn't he not like us iffen we were HIS size"?
