Nippy Saturday.

Mum was refilling my nippy toys and the tub fell off the cat tree. Score!!!

I think I must be having a dream. There is a pot of nip by my feet.

And nip makes me want to roll and play and scratch the carpet.

I am chewing my octopussy now. Mum has had it marinating in Valerian root for me.

Now I am going to bunny kick my soft ball.

Come here yellow mousie, it's your turn.

Who shall I play with next? I know, all of them!

A Package for us!

Our mum says she wants to thank everyone for all their purrs and prayers and good wishes, and to thank those her sent her lovely get well cards. She got some presents too. She was sent a beautiful pendant with two little kitties and citrine stones from a very good friend she got to know through our blog. The person who sent it wishes to remain anonymous but said she sent the pendant to our mum for good luck. Mum wears it all of the time.
Mum also had a beautiful bouquet of flowers sent to her in the hospital from Ginger Jasper and his mum and dad. Before she went into hospital, they also sent her a little ginger cuddly cat called Tabatha to watch over her when we couldn't be there. Then a week ago she got another get well card and a package for US!!!

It was from mom Trish and everyone at the Katnip Lounge. There is nip and treats and lots of mousies that have been marinated in valerian root.

It smells very interesting.

Eric: Nip doesn't do anything for me but these mousies smell very good.
Flynn: I'm more interested in this lovely smell on the box.


Flynn: I smell nip but I can smell something even better. I wish I knew what it could be.

Eric: Let me have a sniff Flynn. Oh you are silly, it's the Katnip Lounge kitties that you can smell.

Anyway, I need to check these treats out.

Eric: I have chosen my favourite toy. It is this red mousie. Valerian root must be better than nip because I am not giving my mousie up for anyone.

I think I love you mousie.

Flynn: I love boxes but I can't work out how I am going to fit in this one.

I wonder if it is Sweet Pea's beautiful scent I can smell in this box. Sorry valerian mousies and nip, you will have to wait. My box smells much more interesting right now.

While Flynn is occupied with his little box, I am going to keep playing with my mousie. Thank you everyone at the Katnip Lounge for our gifts.

The Friday Flashback.

This week the Friday Flashback comes from November 2009 and is called:

NIP OVERLOAD!

Mum gave me some nip on my cat tree. (The tree Eric can't get his fat butt on.)
First of all I like to scrape it up a bit to release the heavenly smell.

Then I rub my head in it.

A bit more head rubbing just for good measure.

I get so excited that I put the bitey on the curtain.

It's a good idea to use your paw to make sure you've got the nip rubbed into your face extra good.

Make sure you hold on to your cat tree though. You don't want to fall off backwards and get laughed at.


Mum took this video of me, but I got so excited that I stuck my sharp claw in her hand. You can hear her say ouch. Haha!

The Friday Flashback

This Friday Flashback is also from April 2007 and shows us recovering from our birthday Celebrations. It is called:

THE AFTER EFFECTS OF NIP.


Well we had a grate time for our purrfday. Lots of kitties teleported ofurr to see us, but now we have just about recovered furrom Nip overload. I couldn't make it off the sofa, and Eric kept complaining I was taking up too much space.


Eric had to go out in the sun in our outdoor run to sleep it off.

When we went outdoors, he couldn't even find the enerjy to walk.

Well hoo needs to walk when yoo can ride?

A bit of fresh air helps cleer yer nippy hed.

Persunly I fink dad must haf been on the nip.

The Friday Flashback

This is another Friday Flashback from April 2007 and it was when I got the whole tub of nip all in one go! It's called:

GOT NIP?


Mum wuz refilling my faverit nip carrot furr me and she left the open nip on our cat tree.


Well I had to take advantij of the contayner being theer didn't I.


I neerly knocked it on the floor so she sed she would put it down theer furr me.

This is fun. Why can't I haf all the nip like this all the time?

Oh I can't beleev how good this is.

I'm in heaven!! I'm not even bothered by Eric shoving his butt against me.

Purrize from Jake.

Flynn: When it was Jake's burpday the other day, he had a competition and we won the purrize for kitties. I was right there when I saw there was a package for us. Mmmm I smell NIP!!

We got butterflies that crackle when you chew and bunny kick them, and we got nip. Not just any old nip but the world's strongest nip!

Eric: Yup, and we got Fancy Feast called Turkey Primavera. We can't get Fancy Feast in the YooKay. It looks lishus and mum said we can have it for supper tonight. there is a great picture of Jake too.

Flynn: Mum has sprinkled some nip on the empty package for me. I am having a good sniff.

I was bunny kicking one of the butterflies but I was too quick for mum to get my thumper feet in action. I had to keep stopping to rub my face in the nip.

Then later on mum gave us the Fancy Feast for supper just like she said she would. It was lishus! Thanks Jake for a great purrize.

Eric: As well as bringing us a package, the man in bloo shorts with the noisy red van brought us an Easter card furrom Skeezix. He signed it himself, and here I am reading it.

Thanks Skeezy. Don't worry, I'm not sticking my tongue out at you. I'm sticking it out at our mum for taking my photo.
