Tummy Tuesday and Update.

I haven't shown you my tummy for a while so I am giving you two tummy shots today.

That is mum's old furry dressing gown that I am laying on. She made me a nest from it when I was first ill and now it is my comfort bed and I am keeping it.
I am still only eating if I have appetite pills and eat better some days than others. I am looking brighter and happier and have even been for a short walk in the field by the garden. Dad carries me back though because I am still very weak.
I don't like all the nasty pills and injections but mum says I have to be brave because it is to make me better so I can go hunting mousies again one day.
When mum weighed me I had put 0.8 of a pound on in 4 days which is about half of what I had lost in 10 days. I am nearly 10 pounds now so have a long way to go to get back to my average of between 15 and 16 pounds but hopefully I am heading in the right direction now.

  10. Good for the weight gain, Flynn. You know, I was once 15 lbs but now I am 10.5 lbs. Mom and Dad don't foresee me ever getting back to my youthful 15 lbs (also that was on an all kibble diet).

You look so adorable lying there like that on Mum's dressing gown. So good of her to give it to you.

Answered prayers that you are feeling better. It's been a long illness for you, sweetheart, and it will take you some time to recover. That weight gain sounds marvelous! We kitties find it hard to gain and easy to loose...quite the opposite of our beans. You are as handsome as ever, love. We are keeping you in our prayers. We love you like you were our own. God bless you.
