I am sorry I have not been commenting the past eight days as we have been on holiday. Back to normal from today. I thought I might try and catch up but that will only put me further behind.
This flashback comes from August 2008 and was an Easy Sunday.
We aren't going to do much today. Have a mooch in the hay barn to see if there are any mousies about.
I am using a different photo than those in the post for my Caturday Art, but it was taken around the same time. I started with Abstract at 50%, then Scribble at 30%.
I am also joining Sandee at Comedy Plus for the blog hop.
Such a nice time those boys were having. I hope you had a fun holiday too.
ReplyDeleteLove your Easy Sunday pictures, boys. And the Caturday artwork is very nice. Hope Mom and Dad had a great holiday. This Saturday the 18th will be 9 years since I said good bye to my sweet tabby kitty Lucy. Might there be a flashback from September 18th that Mom can post sometime? Until next week...Jean
ReplyDeleteSunday afternoons are a good time to attend the services at Bedside Baptist. The good thing is those services can be held anywhere, even in the nice, sunny grass.
ReplyDeleteLove how your two were being lazy and admitting it, LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteThat picture and puzzle of them drinking in synchrony is cute and sweet!
And I sure know that feeling of being all behind. Just wipe the slate clean as it were and then start from where you are, I do that, else the fun is gone, and blogging becomes like another chore.
DeleteGlad you had a nice vacation!

ReplyDeleteWe hope you had a FABULOUS time on your trip - and it's nice to have you back. Love the photos but that "artsy" one with the boys munching on lunch is especially adorable!

We hope you had a wonderful holiday! Was it the first since COVID started? The biped has yet to leave our city, with Delta cases on the rise everywhere in Canada.

ReplyDeleteLying in the grass is a gas and you look comfy. Great art. Off to puzzle.
ReplyDeleteMost definitely those sort of days are meant for us cats. A spot of mousing before lunch followed by time off for a nap. Long grass is such a treat though ours gets mowed so I seldom et to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteWonderful jigsaw this week, took Mrs H 14 mins to do, which means she is way out of practice and or needs new glasses and less sherry, MOL
