I have some short posts this week.
Mancat Monday- Checking for Introoders November 2008Mancat Momday - On Patrol. February 2009
Eric: Brrrr, this stuff is cold to my feet but I need to go over to Flynn.
Okay Flynn, I'm on my way to take over guard duty. On the other side of this hedge there is a shed with straw in it. Mr. Ratty has moved in underneath and we can't get at him. We have to wait and wait and hope he will come through the hedge into our waiting jaws.
Eric Mancat Monday April 2007
I am in the garden being manly and keeping all the fev-vers and slugs and snails away furrom mum's pots of lilies. The shoots haf just started to come up, so if I sit on them, that means I am protecting them right? Well why duz mum say "Eric git yer fat butt off my lilies" then? Sumtimes a mancat is just not apree-she-aytid.
Mancat Monday - Mighty Hunter. June 2007
Flynn: Eric's been hogging the blog lately, so I said I wanted to be mancat today.
We wuz walking around the feelds, and I saw a skwirrow. I chased him but he ran up this tree. I can smell him on this branch. He finks he got away.
Hey Mr. Skwirrow, I'll be back. Flynn the Mighty hunter duzn't give up that eezily.
I am joining Athena the Cat Goddess for Caturday Art. I very nearly didn't! Norton has blocked Lunapic saying it is dangerous and won't even let me access it in isolation mode. Hopefully it is just a blip because different blogs have been blocked for no reason at various times. I tried Dreamscope and that is as slow as ever, and also a couple of others I used to use. Now I can see why I like Lunapic so much!
I ended up using Ribbet and have no idea what I did! The first one I did of Eric looked like your worst nightmare so it got deleted!

How cool, the alert posture was sure amazing and the art is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove these manly hunters and protectors! Mom's catwork is pretty! I look forward to coming here every week. Hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteThose boys were the best patrol cats!
ReplyDeleteI luv that one in the pot - me and Bowie have been known to sit in pots in the sunroom before.
ReplyDeletethose two boys had lots of fun together. We love that first photo so much.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber

ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn are having quite a time, I see. They are very alert kitties, aren't they, Jackie?

I bet no introoders dare come into your garden when those two were patrolling!
ReplyDeleteYou two excelled at guard and patrol duty! :-)
ReplyDeleteAww! loved these they were very strict on security heheh!
ReplyDeleteNice art too so clever

I LOVE the art And you know...it made me think of present day--- with the spirits of Eric and Flynn in their flower pots, as of old.
ReplyDeleteWOW Flynn that first photo is Cat Fancy Cover worthy.
ReplyDeleteEric are the most handsome garden art I have ever seen

Cecilia

yeP ya get to keep the riff-raft out!
ReplyDeleteWe would like to have a little frosty snow on our toes and we been cookin' here! A nice cool or shady patrol would be nice but we don't get to go outside on our own.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos but the one in the smile is our favorite.
ReplyDeleteWe've given up on Dreamscope.
Thanks for the puzzles.
I sometimes get those pain in the you know where messages from Norton, too...and on some of the blogs I visit a lot...phooey.Sometimes if I put it to a different browser that might help. Phooey on all these tech glitches.
ReplyDeleteNone the less I enjoyed today;s post, and despite the change of art enhancers they turned out wonderful!
Not sure if I have time for the puzzles, LOL!
Love the Mancat Monday pics. Beautiful! Love the artwork too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome cat! Enjoy your weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat posts this week! I love Eric and Flynn! And the art is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI have found there are a number of different issues online recently. I have to use Chrome to visit some sites, Edge (which I am not fond of at all) others and Firefox works just fine for others. Frustrating. Lets hope it resolves soon. I still can't wait to do the puzzles!
Purrs Marv (and Barb)
The snow must be cold on a cat's paws, and I worry about all the homeless cats who have to walk in it. Thank goodness Eric and Flynn had the best home to return to after each patrol.
ReplyDeleteThose boys were just the cutest. So adventurous! Love the art.
ReplyDeleteThe Angel Boys were checking the perimeter, at ground level, and up the tree!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
Very cool art, and I'm off to puzzle...thank you!
The boys loved to be on duty, didn't they. Hope you get everything straightened out so you can get back to Lunapic.
ReplyDeleteGuarding against introoders is impawtant work. Marley still does it some, but Laz is taking over.
ReplyDeleteIt's neat how you wove all of the pictures from different years into one cohesive story. Eric looks comfy in his own bubble, and Flynn is a star tree climber. Very effective indeed!
ReplyDeletePawsome memories!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever catch that rat?!!!
I really like the picture of Eric in the bubble!
Purrs, Julie
Great memories, once again. I always love seeing the boys in their pots, And Flynn sure was a good climber!
ReplyDeleteSorry you're havng trouble with Lunapic. Your art still turned out great this week!

ReplyDeleteWell I need to visit LunaPic and am hoping I don't get stonewalled. eEK!
ReplyDeleteI love love love always when you show photos of the boys in the flower pots. It always makes me smile. Lovely artwork, even though you were unable to visit LP!
Your cat post make me smile every time
ReplyDeleteGreat flashbacks. Did they ever catch the rat? I love the shot of Flynn in the tree. Thank you for the puzzles. Very cool art. XO
ReplyDeleteLove Flynn's expression in that first photo! Great flashbacks, as always.
ReplyDeleteNo need to worry about intruders with Eric and Flynn about, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteIt's weird about LunaPic. We didn't get any such warning, so We hope it WAS just a glitch.
We loved seeing another epic adventure on the farm, what a truly pawesome life mew guys had! Thanks for sharing all the beautiful memories! ❤️😺❤️
ReplyDelete*Big Paw Wave* Hello! We've really missed seeing recaps of the boys' adventures. We hope you're doing well.
ReplyDeleteKeeping the crops pest free is certainly a farming cats job, and Flynn and Eric take their work seriously. Must take after their parents. :)
