Just two 1 photo posts and a short post this week, both from December 2010.
Eric: Almost Wordless Wednesday.
Eric: Me and my friend Silver.
We have posted this photo before but as it is one of mum's favourites we thought it was worth posting again.
Flynn: Introoder poof Tail.
I was out in the garden late the other night and suddenly mum heard yowling and swearing so she ran out with the torch. She saw me on the hedge puffed up to more than ten times my usual size, then she saw the introoder inside our purrison fence. It was shadowy and the torch was a bit dim so she isn't sure whether it was a fox or a floofy dark brown cat. Dad said it was more likely a cat because it would be harder for a fox to get over the fence. Mum yelled and it ran off under the bushes. I went to chase it but she yelled louder and told me to go indoors. After a while my fur went back down and I had some supper, but my tail refused to de-floof.Mum's note: The fence is eight feet high and not easy for the boys to climb over as the horizontal timbers are on the outside so they can't get a foot hold to get over. However that makes it easier for cats on the outside to get in although that has only happened twice as far as we know.
This was an Easy Sunday and the last photo with snow in that I am going to show!
Mum took us for a walk in the snow and we weren't impressed.
Flynn: Will someone please open this gate and LET ME IN!!!Eric: As soon as we could get away we rushed right back indoors to spend our Sunday the way it should be.
Flynn: We hope you have a nice relaxing Sunday. I will once my toes thaw out.

What joy to have a horse friend.
ReplyDeleteThat's quite the poofy tail, I hope the intruder didn't come back.
Thank you for linking up with Feline Friday.
Silver looked very sweet and boy, that was some poofy tail! Hugs from all of us!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great shot of Silver! I love the poofy tail shot! Marv loves to POOF his! One minute it is all floofed out and then it lays back down. The art this week is spectacular! Keep being awesome! Barb
ReplyDeleteoooh you know the horse of the lone ranger? how cool!
ReplyDeletePoofy tails and meeting horses - those boys did EVERYTHING.......smart AND brave is a good combination!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Funny thing about the snow, boys. We are to get some on Monday after this weekend's flooding rains. Why you ask? The forsythia is blooming and we always get 3 snows (sometimes many more) after they bloom. Just as Precious has had a few morns in the dark on the catio this week. It will be 23 on Monday! Glad you two finally got in that day to thaw out and relax. We had a racoon in the yard this morn in the dark while Precious was out. It stayed away from her, but she got a good whiff of wild animal, lol.
ReplyDeleteAw, that photo of Eric and Silver is so sweet. 💖
ReplyDeleteFlynn certainly was very brave to face down the introoder. That poofy tail was impressive!
Nope, don't want to see snow. We have a bit in the forecast for next week. We're far from having any forsythia, or anything else, blooming this year. Except for a couple of days in mid-March, Spring has been a no show!
Excellent feline Friday my ginger friends.
ReplyDeleteI loved the feline nose to nose with the equine.
Hugs to you Jackie and Ivor

I adore Angel Flynn's racing stripe!
ReplyDeleteWe absolutely love Flynn’s puffy tail, and the photo of him and his “frozen” toes is hilarious! As always, Mom sends prayers for Jackie and hopes she is continuing to do well. The art came out great, and Mom looks forward to doing the puzzles! Oh, I love that endearing sweet photo of Eric and Silver! They are certainly greeting each other as friends would. Flynn, hope your toes thawed out quickly! Love the catwork. Hope everyone is feeling well. Until next time...Jean
ReplyDeleteDo you know I've never seen Mudpie's tail do that?
ReplyDeleteWOW! That tail was floofed up. Nice flashback. Thanks for the puzzles. XO
ReplyDeleteOne picture of a friend and one, the aftermath of a not-friend. I'm glad Flynn listened to his mum.
ReplyDeleteWe love that your were friends with Silver. Mom had a horse named Silver, in the long ago.

ReplyDeleteAmazing photos. Silver is very sweet. The art is lovely as always!
ReplyDeleteLovely memory pics! We have never seen a horse. TBT says they are like Vicious Deer but bigger and friendlier.
ReplyDeleteAnd he says that foxes can dig UNDER fences, so it could have been one. And we had one that did that 2 years ago. He saw it (or maybe a coyote) in the backyard and chased it away. But it was dark, so he couldn't tell. But it sure wasn't an intooder cat. He dumped some of our used litter at the spot.
What a magnificently floofy tail! We wonder who that Introoder might have been!
ReplyDeleteThe art is, as always, pawsome!
I hope that big pony will give you a ride
ReplyDeleteI am still here and will make a point of reading and leaving comments. Hugs, my dear.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a sweet and special photo of Eric and Silver. And WOW, Flynn's tail was really poofed out!
ReplyDeleteSundays are definitely days for lounging around at home not out walking in snow!
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
Dudes, mew always look so fluffing EPIC!!!! We loved todays post, apart from the snow, mew can keep that, as we've decided we're allergic to cold weather! MOL
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet pic of Eric and Silver! And what a poofy tail, Flynn had!
ReplyDeleteWe don't blame either of you for wanting to get away from all the cold white stuff...
