Friday Flashback and Caturday Art.

This week I have two posts from March 2011 because they both follow on from each other.

1) Mancat Monday, The Wrong Pot.

Eric: What do you mean, I'm in the wrong pot? I must admit it isn't very comfy with lots of spiky things sticking in my butt.

I wonder if that one would be better.

Flynn: He must need his head examined when he has got a nice comfy pot like mine that he could be napping in.

2) Still Wrong!

Eric: The other day when I was in the greenhouse, I couldn't get comfortable because I was in the wrong pot. This one is much more comfy.

Flynn says I am still in the wrong pot and should be in the brown one.

He says the green one is his, but I say first come first served.

Flynn: I am not happy, I want to get in my green pot.

Mum can you tell Eric to go in his own pot. No, I don't want to get in his pot, I want my own.

I will sit here and sulk until he moves.

I am joining Athena, The Cat Goddess for Caturday Art.

For Eric I started with Beauty at 65%, then added Landscape at 40%.

For Flynn I used Brave at 45%, then K2 Art at 55%.

  8. Eric and Flynn always were so entertaining as the moved about looking for PURRfection.
This reminds me a little story I saw in Reader's Digest.
"A little boy was staying with his Grandma. He got up dressed himself went into the kitchen. Grandma
praised he attire and added your shoes are on the wrong feet. He looked down then looked up at Grandma. He said these are the only feet I have"

  11. A tabby named Eric found a snug little spot,
He plopped himself down in a large flower pot.
He squished all the daisies, He flattened the thyme,
But purred like a King and said, “This seat is sublime!”
Flynn was miffed, its mine he cried!
But Eric meowed, “It’s cozy inside!”
    Purrs! Marvelous Marv

  15. I love seeing the boys in their giant pots. I like the art you made. Thanks for the puzzles. XO

  16. Ha! The boys were very sensitive, weren't they? Cats like their routines - and like periodically disturbing other cats' routines.

  17. Some of your best photos, were of the
boys in their pots...Lovely! Bless! :)xx

  18. A pot is a pot until it's not.
A pot without a cat has no value.
A pot with a cat is priceless.
There is no such thing as the wrong pot if a cat is in the pot. A pot with a cat in it is always the right pot.

  19. LOL! That's funny! Cats love boxes...and pots! :D

  23. You two are amazing, as well as very lucky to have your own glazed pot house. I'd be tuchy about the wrong pot, too. Hang on in there, Flynn, I'm sure your staff will rescue your pot, or Eric will move on. Best to get in there early to protect your fav sleeping area.
