Easy on Sunday

Eric: We do still have some more long grass, it just means I have to go further if I want to sit in it. I hope dad doesn't cut it too soon . He says as soon as the weather is good, it's all going to disappear like our other grass. I'm going to make the most of it and have an easy Sunday sitting in it. I may even nap in it.
Flynn: While Eric is guarding the grass, I am taking it easy on Sunday and stopping to smell the flowers.

Oh you boys are very romantic! Eric making a nice hidey picnic spot in the long grass where you can woo the females and Flynn, picking and finding the best flowers to wear into a garland to woo your pretty womans!
Nice guys! :)

Dear Eric,
Please be very careful not to be taken away with the grass when your dad decides to work on it! Taking a nap there could be dangerous!

It is incredibly impawtant to take the time to sniff the flowers - modern life can be all rush, rush, rush. When I'm not rushing to the kitchen to be fed, there's watching seagulls, or rushing for a poop, or attack-a-catting dad's socks, or pouncing on my furry bruvfur. It's all go!

We're so glad you two could enjoy the long grass and also the flowers on an easy Sunday. It's been rainy stormy here the past week but now it's hot and humid so we may stay inside again today in the cool house anyway to take it easy. Cheers!

Eric, I agree with you. Long grass is so nice to sit in and hide. You can see all sorts of things that can't see you!
