The Friday Flashback
This week's Friday Flashback comes from April 2007 and is called:
TREE CLIMBING TUESDAY.
I fink efurrycat knows I like avenchurs. Well one fing I reely like to do is climb trees.
I like to get up high in the branches where I can see efurryfing that is going on.
Sumtimes I try to worry mum by pretending I'm going to fall. She stands below me saying,"Oh keerfull Flynnie, watch what yer doing." Don't tell her, but I do akkrobattiks speshully to skeer her.
Here I am telling Eric to come up wiv me, but he isn't so good as me at tree climbing. Mum tells him he's awkward as a camel. He furrgets which branches he went up, and then he looks down at mum squawking that he's stuck, but he's not reely,except furr the time dad had to climb up the tree and git him down. I just sat on the grass watching and laffing.

What a great climbing tree! You must be able to see quite a distance way up there.
That's funny how you & your brother are so opposite when it comes to climbing.

That is soooo cool! You look so free and do such a good job! I used to climb trees till I got caught!
Be careful!!! Mom is laughing because a squirrel went way out on a limb today...way to the very end and fell off, right by Grete!! Grete was thrilled, but was too slow and the squirrel got back up the tree.
Don't go too far out on those little tree limbs!
That tree climbing looks so fun.

That is so high up we dun fink we cud do dat.
Are you coming down on your own now? I also enjoy climbing but often I freak out about coming down and stay still up there (somewhere) until mom or dad come for me!
