A Great Week!
Earlier this week the man in shorts brought a package for us. It is a lovely black ceramic drinking bowl and we won it on Angus Mhor's giveaway. Mum told us it is a fountain but we would have to wait for her to go into town to buy a voltage adaptor.
She filled it with water and put it on the floor for us to get used to it.
Eric: I started drinking from it as soon as she put it on the floor. I like to put my feet in it too and see how far I can fling the water.
Mum was doing something by the water bowl today so I went to see what was going on.
"Hey mum! This water is moving all on it's own. You're right, it is a drinking fountain."
Mmmm, I like this moving water.
Flynn: I wasn't sure about it at first so I whapped it to let it know I wasn't afraid of it, then I had a drink. I like drinking from the stream before it gets in the bowl.
We love our drinking fountain. Thanks Angus.
Today the man in shorts brought another package for us. It was from The Creek Cats and they had a giveaway for their Human's Wedding Anniversary and we won the prize for international bloggers. We had a choice of prints and we chose this lovely one of Saylor.
They sent us a birthday card with Maggie May on it too and a lovely note card.
This is what they wrote to us.

Wow, you guys got great stuff in the mail today (so did we)! Sailor looks beautiful in the picture and your water fountain is awesome. My kitties have a water fountain too and Casper loves to play in it. Whenever I stroke him his head is always wet - LOL!
Those were some super contests that you won! Woooooo we like the running water. We all love running water.

This HAS been a great week for you two! Saylor looks so glamorous in that print. I love our moving water here. Never thought of whapping it, though. Maybe I should have done that - I bet it has NO idea of who's boss around here!

Morning Eric and Flynn....you two struck gold yesterday....What an exciting day. FYI: on the fountain, it is a ton of fun to drop your toys in the fountain and watch them sink. It will also make your mom squeal.

We wouldn't drink out of the fountain we had so mum put it in a charity bag - silly mum didn't think of asking on the CB if anyone wanted it - we're still trying to train her so wish us luck.

That sure is a neat fountain, and very intriguing especially when the water moves on its own.
Dante does the same thing with whapping the water before he drinks it. I've read that this is a holdover of behaviour cats exhibit in the wild.
Also, that's a very beautiful picture of little Saylor, and a lovely note from The Creek Cats. You are very blessed indeed.
Wow, that is one pawsome drinking fountain! We've not tried that style of fountain before. We have two fountains, but insist on drinking from Dixie Dog's water bowl. It drives our mom crazy, which is fun!
We are so glad to see the print and card arrived safely. We were worried it might get damaged on the way over. We hope you guys enjoy your prizes!!!
