Mancat Monday
We haven't been for a walk for the last three days because it has been bitterly cold. The furthest we have been is out in the garden, but today the wind dropped so mum asked if we wanted to go out in the fields.
Flynn: Hmm, I don't know if this was a good idea. I've got frozen toesies in this icy grass,
Eric: You're right, I don't think I want to put my feet in it.
Nope, a walk was definitely not the best idea.
Flynn: I had to floof my fur up and even my tail to keep warm.
I managed to stop for a few minutes to check the smells on the grass though.

Definitely sounds like another good day to stay indoors!
We don't like the cold either you two boys. You should see us in the snow. We pick our feet up really high. We do not like to get our feets cold. Hope it gets a little warmer soon for you.
That is why we stay inside. I see you didn't get any of the snow they talked about in the YouKay.

We've been lucky here so far, not too cold (for us), though we're still not keen to spend that much time outside. Inside is better, and if you have a fireplace or wood stove, all the better!
We agree, laying in front of the warm fire is the best thing on a cold icy day.
You are both welcome to come and spend the summer here.

Icy toes, tums and bums are a big winter no no. After that you need a very warm mummy tummy to warm them on!!

HI Eric! Hi Flynn! We have missed seeing you since mom's work computer got all goofy! We are sorry it is so cold there - that stinks that you can't even go for a nice walk! We hope it gets warmer there soon!!
It's very cold here too and the weatherman says to expect 15cm of snow tonight. Not fun!

Outdoor time is nice, but frozen felines are no fun!
Oh no! Cold kitty feeties! A cuddle from mum and dad, an extra log on the fire, a soft hairy blanket and a nice warm dinner should do the trick.

good gracious! yes, by all means, stay cosy by the fire, whether electric or wood; and a warm bean tummy is the best remedy we know of for chilly toezies. sometimes it's just not worth the discomfort to go out for a sniff!
It's so cold outside boys!
It's better to go inside home and take a good nap, preferably near the central heating!
