Memories of Eric and Flynn

This is our new blog. You can find our old blog at http://ericandflynns.blogspot.com We will be keeping it up permanently.

Location: Plymouth, Devon, United Kingdom

We are ginger and white brothers and enjoy sharing our adventures together walking in the fields. Sadly Eric left for the Rainbow Bridge on 19.03.2013. I joined my brother on 1st May 2017 so now we are together again for all time.

Mancat Monday

Flynn: One of the first things to do when we are on field patrol is to find a good lookout spot to watch out for introoders.

When I am sure there are none around, I go and sharpen my claws on our big outdoor scratching post.

Eric: While Flynn is scratching I will go and check out the mousie situation.

I have caught two here. Mum took one away from me, but I ate the other one before she had chance to get it.

None under the wood, I'll just check the grass.

I have tapped around with my paw but it looks like my luck is out.

I will go and check in the hay barn instead.

Mum says we have had most of the mousies and the ones we haven't had have left home.

Flynn: While Eric is on a wild goose chase, or should that be a wild mousie chase, I will sit on the water trough and catch a few rays.

You have to keep checking those mousie spots every day, else they'll think they're safe and will come back with all of their friends and family!

You guys always have the best adventures, we so enjoy visiting!

Your mum could be right about the mousies having packed their little bags and moved out...but we kinda think a new family will move in and provide lots of tasty treats!

Thank goodness the weather is improving (only two more weeks till spring arrives) and you get to go out and patrol a bigger area.

I've made it out on the porch and out to my favorite bush but that is as far as I got. Still kind of cold here and there are still some piles of snow around. I don't like snow.

Flynn! When you are on patrol, you mean business, don't you. With your advanced technique, those nails must be razor sharp.
All introoders will keep away. Far away!

Quite the mouser there, Eric. Two! We are very impressed with your skill . And you got to eat one! Do you eat it all or just nibble pieces off. (we remember hearing about you boys gastric issues post mousie munching. ) Although we can't join you on your adventures, we CAN dream, can't we?
