Eric's Day Flashback - Night Patrol.
This week the flashback comes from January 2009 and is called:
Night Patrol.
Eric: It is very mancatly to go out in the fields when it is nearly dark.
Flynn: I like to sit and listen for mousies getting ready for bed.
Eric: It is best to be prepared and get in the crouch position early just in case.
Flynn: And if you listen, you will hear the pheasants getting ready to fly up to their beds in the trees.
Eric: But the most important thing is to make sure you keep your mum safe in the dark by listening out for any strange noises.

Cats being crepuscular hunt best in semi-darkness and this is wonderful to see.

Yes, keeping your mom safe in the dark is definitely important. You two always had such fun adventures.

Oh dear We are so late my sis and her hubby are coming this weekend..mom has been on a cleaning spree and cooking spree and we had a crock pot malfunction that required an unplanned trip to buy a new one.

What fun...stalking critters in the dark. The last time one of us tried that (in an unauthorized escape), skunks were about. Luckily neither kitty (Astrid) or mom were sprayed. Love the flashbacks. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
