Flynn: Come on Eric, I keep catching all the mice and let yoo haf them. I fink it's time I showed yoo how to catch your own.
Furrst of all yoo find a sootabull hole right? Now yoo haf a look down theer and tell me if yoo can see

Come on, it's not going to bite yoo. Haf a good look down theer.
That's better, now can yoo see ennyfing?
What do yoo mean yoo don't know. Move ofurr and let me haf a look.Yup he's deffernuttly down there.
Now stand back and let the purrfeshunull show yoo how it's done.
Result! Got you, you little devil!
Trubble is I still caught the mousie and gave it to yoo Eric.
Yoo haf to catch the next one yerself now I haf shown yoo how to do it.

Angels Eric and Flynn, our neighbors have told us many times how happy they were that Sweetie and The PO'M were in our yard, because they caught all of the mice that used to get into their house.
Haven't mentioned that Sweetie came inside over two years ago, and that Paddy flew off to heaven to hang with you two.
Not sure if mouse hunting is a skill that a cat just figures out, or needs to be taught, so it's good that you both learned.

Flynn, I have a feeling Eric really could catch a mousie if he wanted to...but more fun to sit back and let you do all the work and he still benefits! We're grateful for our homeless kitties as they are also on mousie-watch and if it's a slow mousie day, there's still something good to eat in their party platter (what we call their large compartment tray, like the kind appetizers are put in) Mom's artwork is so pretty, I thought it was a real photo! Hope Mom and Dad are doing well. Until next time...Jean

That was a fun time...poor mousie! LOL! Us pups, esp Benji, have nabbed all kinds of voles and moles, too. A few mice...but those dudes are a lot faster than the others!
