I'm with Sassy...please don't give up! You are such a wonderful hunter! I'm your fan indeed!;-) But, on the other hand...I love bluebells and all flowers! It is cool too! You know...I'm a romantic catgirl!!!! purrs and noselicks Luna
Yes, if mousie knows you are there (which I am sure it does) it isn't going to come again anytime soon! And bluebells, while not as interesting, are at least very pretty and they smell nice, too (not like a mouse)!
Patience is a virtue, my friend, and you are virtuous. Don't let that mouse get the best of you. Of course, if feeding time comes around, and he still hadn't come out, I'd give it up if I were you.
Looking at bluebells is ok, but I think that getting the mouse is even better! I haven't had one of those since I've gotten a little to old and slow to hunt much anymore, but I still remember the taste. YUM!
We are ginger and white brothers and enjoy sharing our adventures together walking in the fields. Sadly Eric left for the Rainbow Bridge on 19.03.2013. I joined my brother on 1st May 2017 so now we are together again for all time.
Sooner than later that mouse will have to come out. Do not give up. Stay the course, it will pay off!

Don't worry, the mousie will come back. In the meantime, enjoy the bluebells.

ReplyDeleteI don't think the mousies are very safe around you.
ReplyDeleteMay be if you look at the bluebells long enough, the mouse will come back out!

ReplyDeleteBluebells are pretty, but mousies and chipmunks and evil squirrels are MUCH more interesting.
ReplyDeleteDarn that mousie, spoiling your plans like that!
ReplyDeleteHi Fellas,
ReplyDeleteI don't know how to hunt mousies. I only know about house flies and spiders. You guys are so brave and strong...
but yeah... look at the bluebells and take a nap!! It's so important.
Did the mousie come back out again?

Looking at flowers is a perfectly good thing to do, in our not so humble opinion.
ReplyDeleteBut then we don't get to catch mice.
Good things come to he who waits!
ReplyDeletePatience is what we cats do best!
ReplyDeleteThose mices can be pretty stubborn.
ReplyDeleteYou might be waiting awhile so it's good you got something else to look at...
ReplyDeleteThat mousie can't stay there forever, can he? So bide your time!
