This is one of our fields where dad stole our lovely green grass. Usually it starts to turn green again after two days. It has been unusually hot and dry here and our grass is still prickly and brown. We hope it soon turns green again because it is not very tasty when it is like this.
Don't worry though because we have got green grass in our garden and in one of the fields, so we go and eat that.

You two blend in very well with that burned out grass.
ReplyDeleteIt's great catouflage though
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets green to. You guys look so much better on green!
ReplyDeleteWe hope you gets rain and cooler weather so you can get more grass in these fields.
ReplyDeleteyellow grass for sleep,
ReplyDeletegreen grass for eat!
Excellent!
We've had the opposite problem here -- too much rain!
ReplyDeleteThat is no fun ... hard dry grasses! We hope you get some rain. Here where we live it doesn't rain hardly at all in the summer. So we are now in a drought!
ReplyDeleteYou have color-coordinated grass right now!
ReplyDeleteOne of Mom's young dogwood trees that our Grampy planted last year is dying. Grampy is watering them and the flower beds, but it's been blistering hot here and the ground doesn't hold the water very long.
....just looking at the grass gives me major sinus problems.....
ReplyDeleteBe careful that brown grass doesn't prickle you.. Its scratchy.. you still look godd against it though...

ReplyDeleteWe hope your grass turns green again soon!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question in the comments...Mom posted a post that was supposed to be scheduled so she deleted it...she does that a lot!
The sunburned grass matches your furs.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you have something green to eat! Hope that grass greens up soon for you!
ReplyDeleteWe think that you look very handsome posed on the poor brown grasses!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad to know that you two still have some green grass somewhere! You need somewhere to go to show your red furs off (and to nibble as well). Have a great Mancat Monday, boys (er mancats)!
ReplyDeleteWe think is is kewel dat youz has those open fields ta play in an' dat youz gets all dat grass ta taste☺
ReplyDeleteIt does bring out your coat very nicely, though!
ReplyDeleteyou do blend in though!
ReplyDeleteI think you are very right: green grass is much betterer than brown grass.
ReplyDeleteCammoflarge grass!
ReplyDeleteIs that brown grass all picky???
ReplyDeleteWe agree with everyone else. It does look prickly and no good to eat, and you do blend in nicely.

That brown grass looks awful prickly. We hope it gets green soon!
ReplyDeleteThe other kitties are correct about how well you boys blend in with the brown grass. It doesn't look very soft though. Hope it greens back up soon, but we're glad you have other green grass to lay in and eat!
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,
