The sun is still shining and I am still looking for mousies. I was so intently watching that I didn't even see the pheasant on the hedge above me until he flew off and made me jump.
There are lots of mousies that live in here, but not as many as last week.
And if I get my way, there will be even less next week.

Happy mouse hunting, Flynn!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a video of you jumping when the pheasant flew off. Worthy of a acatemy award.
ReplyDeletePheasants are silly, no reason to pay any attention to them. And certainly not when there are mousies to be caught. Happy hunting, Flynn.
ReplyDeleteFlynn
ReplyDeleteI say that mousie doesn't stand a chance against you!

You go Flynn!
ReplyDeleteGood Hunting! We hope there are even less next week!
ReplyDeleteIf only you could catch that pheasant! Their fev-vers are so beautiful, you could wear them in your furrs:)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your mouse hunting. I'm just envious of your sunny weather. (It didn't snow today, but was dreary and foggy--like it should have been in LONDON--not OUR town!)
ReplyDeleteMaybe when you have caught all the mousies, you can go pheasant hunting.
ReplyDeleteGet them mousies my friend!!
ReplyDeleteHope you find a juicy one.
ReplyDeleteHope you find what you're looking for, Flynn and start the week off right!!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteHappy hunting! We've had amazing hunting weather, but I think it's getting colder now...Jonesie and Cecilia may have to settle for watching you hunt.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get as many mousies as you want. Happy hunting!
ReplyDeleteFor other folks (I refer to kitties and doggies as people) reading this, my blog has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.
All you kitties stay well!

ReplyDeleteWow! That's mousie-concentration!
ReplyDeleteHappy Hunting Season!

PS. we're not naming him Bronze. That was just a joke 'cause the OTW told us we won him in the Cat Olympics. Right before she publicized her 'expose'. Don't know why she couldn't strip us of that 'medal' as well....
The Big One is leaning toward Augustus (Giz).
Nice to see you play outside
ReplyDeleteI see the snow is gone ....
Enjoy :-)
Hugs Kareltje =^.^=
Hunting mousies is fun. We like to leave them in the kitchen and hear mum squeal with pleasure.
ReplyDeleteWe think it's funny that you didn't notice the pheasant. MOL.
ReplyDeleteOf course there aren't as many mousies this week, you're a good mouse hunter and eater!
Um, how big is that pheasant?
ReplyDeleteMousies and Pheasants - you're so lucky.
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
You must be the best mouser ever, Flynn! As a pheasanter, not so much.
ReplyDeleteWhat a mouser you are and I know if anyone can catch them it will be you.
ReplyDeletePoem:
ReplyDeleteThose mousies better beware!
'Cos Flynn is there!
We hope you get a mousie or two, or three, or four....
ReplyDeleteDid you get lots of mousies, Flynn? We're sure you did, you being a mighty hunter cat and all.
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew
Go Flynn Go!
ReplyDeleteThis mousie wall is pawsome. We would love a pheasant feather to play with.
ReplyDeleteJust go for it, I believe in you!
ReplyDeleteI think it could be really funny...ahhh if I had this opportunity some day!!!!
purrs and love

The mousies don't stand a chance with you around, Flynn!
ReplyDeleteYou are a silly orange kitty ^,,^
ReplyDeleteWow, that must be one crazy birdie to be so close to you. Obviously he doesn't know about your Mancatly hunting abilities.
ReplyDeletewow - you is so lucky to be able to hunt!
ReplyDeleteMOL!!! Too bad you didn't see the pheasant!
ReplyDeleteSomething tells me you prefer mouse meat to fowl meat any time, Flynn! You're quite the expurrt hunter, but you could soon hunt yourself out of prey. Gotta give those adult mousies a chance to make more baby ones.
ReplyDeleteYou're such a good hunter, Flynn, but save a few for another day.....:))))) Mama got a little excited about the pheasant....seems she grew up in a northern state and pheasant was one of their main meals!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool having a mouse hedge!
ReplyDeleteMmmm ... mousies! Obviously, you are the reason there are fewer mousies this week!
