Mancat Monday

Flynn: With Spring coming, there seem to be more and more interesting smells. I think a squirrel may have climbed this tree.

Eric: Something has been here too. It may be the introoder cat who poops outside our gate.

We don't stop and sniff here. The badgers have made these big holes for their setts. We hurry past because they have big sharp teeth.

  1. You two should be called Sherlock and Holmes! And those badgers need to have their mean tails kicked!

  2. Watch out for those badgers. I don't think I should like them at all.

  3. Oh it's so good you are careful. I have heard badgers are truly nasty creatures. I imagine they are that way as a survival skill. Nevertheless, they go into attack mode rather frequently.

    Enjoy all the smells!

For other folks reading this, (kitties and doggies are people) my blog has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.

    All you kitties stay well!

  7. That sure is rude for that cat to poop by your gate. Really smart not linger by the badger holes. Enjoy your day checking all the places you can. After all that then you can enjoy your naps.

  11. You boys get the best walks, but I dont think I would like badgers either. We have a cat that comes and poos in our flower bed at the back of our yard. Dad gets annoyed because I poop in a tray and someone else's cat comes and does it in the flowers. Have a good day.. Hugs GJ xx

  24. Eric @ Flynn & Mum Jackie
You boys have had a good adventure outside - it must be such fun.
When Mum first lived here (a hundred or so years ago) the cat she had then was a hunter like you boys and she had a lot of delicious treats delivered to her while she was in bed - she still shivers when she remembers it!!

Mum here - Jackie a friend who works with computers is going to come round tomorrow evening and try and sort the pictures out for me as over the phone he can't think what I am doing wrong - so fungers crossed.

  30. Run, Eric, Run! Don't let those nasty ol' badgers see you!

  31. Sounds like exploring is very exciting, but also quite dangerous. It's a good thing you have your mum along to keep you safe.

Spring is finally coming where we live, too! It's a wonderful thing, spring -- everything is new again.

  32. You ARE hurrying past, smart kitties! We are glad your patrol was without confronting those badgers, though!
