I Spy.

We were walking around the fields and I thought I heard a familiar noise, so I had a look through the hedge.

I thought so! The sheep have been having their lambs and now they are back in the field next to us. You can biggify to see the baby lambs better.
They are a bit scared of us. When our heads pop through the hedge they go bouncing away.

  1. Aw, aren't the lambs adorable? We don't think sheep are that clever, though, so we suppose it's natural they're scared of you. Of course, you both are mighty warrior mancats...er, sort of...MOL..and no doubt very imposing to little lambs! ;-)

  10. The lamb is such a cutie. Too bad they are scared of you. Do they belong to your parents or the neighbours?

  12. Lambs are a sure sign that Spring is here.

Mummy used to work on a farm during lambing season. She says it was hard, smelly, dirty work but worth it when you see the lambs bouncing about in the fields

  22. Momma calls Gracie Lambie Pie sometimes, but she doesn't look anything like those Lambies.

  23. Awww! How cute! I'm sure any sudden movement would scare those little ones. They don't know very much about the world yet. Perhaps you should introduce yourselves to them, a little more gently -- be gentle like a lamb!

  24. Baby lambs, that means spring is really here. Did you ever thought about herding sheep? If dogs and pigs can do it, you certainly can.
