It is so hot we are just lying around everywhere. Even the cool earth isn't really cool.
I prefer to lie in the border with mum's new bedding plants that she just put in.
What do you mean, I'm flattening them?

Flynn, you might try stretching out somewhere that has shade. Just a thought. LOL.
ReplyDeleteEric, of course you're not flattening the flowers. You're communing with them, you're one with the plants, helping them to take root and grow. Anyone can see that. Honestly! Mums!
...But are those plants good to eat? That's the question.
ReplyDeleteSurely those plants can carry the weight of an itty bitty kitty?
ReplyDeleteWarmth is nice, but hot is not. Go and find a shady spot now!
ReplyDeleteI think you add just the right splash of color to the flower bed!
ReplyDeleteIt is always best to lay where mom has just been doing some important work! You fit in with your mum's flowers very nicely!
ReplyDeleteIt's too hot to go outside.
ReplyDeletemaking your mom some nice pressed flowers?
ReplyDeleteLook at that stretch! I can feel it from here!
ReplyDeleteI thought that was more ON then BY, hehehe...
ReplyDeleteFlat flowers. Is that a new concept
ReplyDeleteIt can't be much fun going outside when it's so hot. Let's hope the temperatures turn more seasonal for you soon.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy that sun!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure they're meant to be flattened.
ReplyDeleteEric, our mum says you could flatten anything, any time as long as she could cuddle you, and Flynn too!
ReplyDeleteNow Eric, you need to ask your human what is more important, your comfort or a few measly flat plants? I think the answer should be obvious!
ReplyDeleteYoo're not flattening them, yoo are snoopervising them!!! Anybuddy cud see that!
ReplyDeleteFlattening what? I don't see anything except a flat cat.
ReplyDeleteYou guys look very comfy. That is something that we would love to do, just lie down in the new flowers. Makes it a little softer. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteHave a find Sunday
Oh Eric - can't your mum see that you're decorative and must be the centre piece of the flower bed. Just be careful she doesn't water you later!!
ReplyDeleteWe think you make those flowers look even better!!
ReplyDeleteSniffie and the Florida Furkids
That looks like Heaven!! I would love to lay in the dirt! And roll in it a little too!
ReplyDeleteErnie
You are a purrfect addition to the pretty flowers, Eric.
ReplyDeleteYou boys are so lucky to have some good dirts to lay in!
ReplyDeleteDirt, glorious dirt!
ReplyDeleteFlattening them? She needs to get her eyes examined.
Let's give your mum the benefit of the doubt and say she meant to say you were 'flattering' them. After all, cats and flowers make a very beautiful combination.
ReplyDeleteWe prefer to call it "incubating". Flattening is such a harsh term!
ReplyDeletewow boys, you look so happy and relaxed there!I think these pictures are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous nap there!

As long as you boys are happy and comfortable, we are sure your mum won't mind. Eric love, you are the lovliest flower in the bed. Have you done a little nomming on the new planties too? Our air conditioning unit went out this morning so we are just roasting but it is still cooler in our house.
ReplyDeleteis your mum saying you are flat? the outrage! poor kitty, stay where you are, you add color to the brown dirt and look nice with the red flowers.
ReplyDeletegerald the cat supporting goat
