It has been quite hot* here lately so mum has been taking us for walks in the evenings when it is cooler.
I stand here on my vantage point and look across the fields to make sure there is no danger in the coming darkness.
I make sure I look in all directions.
Okay, that is enough of that. Lets go and get some supper.*We know our US friends will consider our weather to be cool, but when our temperature reaches the low 70's, that is hot to us.

ReplyDeleteLow 70s sounds absolutely perfect to us, couldn't ask for a better day! It gets very hot and very muggy in the summers here in southern Ontario, Canada, too, into the 90s, even can reach 100+ F with the humidex. But it's all relative and when you're not used to it, yep, low 70s would be hot. Your evening strolls look wonderful, actually.

We get 76F/24.4C at 3 or 4AM! We'll have 110F/ 43.3C today as our high and we are really not in the dog days of summer yet. So what we'll do is nap away the hottest part of the day and dream we're catching mousies with you.

Such a difference in how temps are perceived. It depends on what is normal to you. Anything else is too hot or too cold. It's 96 very humid degrees here today and we're sweltering. In winter we're freezing in temps others consider "warm."
