Snow is Not Fun

When it snowed at the weekend, mum asked us if we would like to go out and play in it. IS SHE MAD??? We used to play in it when we were young and foolish, but we are older boys now with more sense. Anyway, she chucked us out the door! That shouldn't be allowed surely. Oh okay then, she opened the door and we made the mistake of going out to check it out.

Flynn: I ran right under the hedge where there was no snow.

Eric: And I went under the swing hammock.

Flynn: Mum kept trying to get photos of me under the hedge, so I had to move away from her. I tried to keep my feet out of the snow.

When I got to the end of the hedge, I had to walk on the nasty white stuff.

Yuk! I do not like this cold stuff one bit.

I don't care what she says, I'm heading back indoors.

Eric: Good idea, I'm coming too.

Okay mum, so we've been out and walked in it, now take it away again.

Hang on a minute Flynn, there's an interesting smell here.

For goodness sake Eric, never mind the smells, lets get back in by the fire.

  5. For pity's sake, fellas! Did you get snow betwixt your toes? Brrrrr! My mom is flyin' over to your side of the world next month and hopes the snow's blown away by then. She'll be traversin' the length of Hadrian's Wall with the Sandyman, who has a thing for Romans and Rocks!

  8. I can see your pawprints in the snow. That should be enough for your mum.

BTW, it's snowing in Australia and we are supposed to be in summer. So, looks like it's going to be a White Christmas for those who live in the alpine region of Victoria and New South Wales. No, not us.

  11. We totally agree with you two. We have about that much snow on the ground, and we just will not even begin to think about walking on it. No more outings for us until the temperature is well over, we mean WELL OVER, freezing again.

  15. We think you two are smart for not wanting to play in the snow. Sweet Pea plays on her balcony in the snow but she's young and foolish!

  16. You guys are so funny. :-)

But we do agree, inside curled up by a fire is much better than being cold out in the snow!

  28. Hey guys! You need to do what we do: Watch the snow from inside the house while sitting in front of the fireplace! :)

    PurrSSSSS!

  29. Oh we are sorry you had to go out in that cold wet snow! That just doesn't sound like it was fun at all! Cold + wet = bad in our book! We hope she let you back in by the fire right away!!

  30. Brrr, even Zippy won't go out in da snow! And she just chucked yoo guys out der...maybe some humom needs to be chucked out der in her bare feets.

  31. Wes gots lots of snow. Me told Mommy the only time me goes out is when we goes in the bo that moves to go to the little house. But she still put me down in it any way! Nasty stuff!

  32. Yes, Dante and Dylan know exactly how you boys feel. Despite having warm fur coats, the pads of your paws are unprotected from the cold, and it can chill you to the bone.

I sure hope your Mommy let you in right away after the photoshoot -- your Mom is just like me -- gotta get those pictures!

  33. You two are very cute in the snow, even if you don't like it. Mom doesn't think I've ever seen snow.
    Merry Christmas!

  34. Looks brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....makes us think maybe we're really lucky that we have never seen snow!!!!!!!
