Happy Birthday to Marilyn, mum of Grace, Audace and Ruse.
We hope you have a lovely day.
Just Checking. After not getting out in the fields for a while when the snow and ice was here, now we have to check every inch for smells.
We partly floof our tails while we do it in case there are introoders about. That way they know not to mess with us.
There has definitely been someone here who shouldn't have been.
Oh well, I think they are long gone now.
Flynn: In answer to yesterday's Wordless Wednesday, yes it was a mousie and of course I caught it.
Cat asked if the pictures were a flashback because the grass looks green. No, not a flashback, all the photos were taken three days ago on the one sunny day we've had. No horses or people had walked on the snow and ice, so when it thawed it came back nice and green again.

ReplyDeleteOur grass is green too! But very soggy and muddy. Not that I would know. I have to rely on Jonesie, Ginger and Figaro to let me know about these things.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to enjoy outdoors sunbeams and a real tasty juicy mouse!
That is what mum likes about the UK, your grass is usually green, no matter what the season.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool the way your field can go from snowy to such a pretty green! I am glad those intruders are long gone... and they should be glad they are long gone, too!
ReplyDeleteYou always have pretty green grass in the winter!

ReplyDeleteP.S. Glad you got the mouse, Flynn.
P.P.S. The mom is so envious of those who live in more temperate climates! Green grass in January...Sigh.
We can see you are very thorough with your intruder searches - woe betide any mousie being found on your patch.
ReplyDeleteNo introoder shoule ever try to mess with you boys!!
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Boys!
ReplyDeleteWe sure are glad you floofed those tails a little to warn everyone to stay away from you. You sure did cover all the territory. Bet that was fun for you. Take care and have a wonderful day.

ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for helping us with Sparkles.
Look at those tails! You boys are so excited. You must smell someone of great interest. Enjoy your hunt but be careful. There might be a very large intruder hiding in the bushes.
ReplyDeleteHi Eric! Hi Flynn! We think you are so lucky to get to explore everything now that the snow is gone - it looks like there are tons of fun and interesting smells for you to check out!
