This where mum's favourite horse is buried. We like it here because there are lots of mousie holes.
Flynn: Pounce!
Nom nom nom.
Eric: I wonder if any more mousies are home.
If I wait here long enough. one might pop his head out of the hole.

ReplyDeleteKnow what? Our mom was just at the hardware store shopping for trash bins, and she opened one up and it had a dead mouse in it. We were all excited to hear that, and asked if she brought it home. She said that no of course not, and she was grossed out. Humans!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a great place to grab (literally!) a snack.
ReplyDeleteWe hope you get a mousie!!

Our mom says it's wonderful that your mum has her favourite horse buried there (our mom's first love was horses and her soulmates have been two mares).
ReplyDeleteWe think it's cool that lots of mousies like to make their home there and we hope you get some!
We hope your mum is getting around more and more each day and feeling better!
Buddy Bear said "We don't see mousies anymore. Since we don't go outside all the mousies are out of our reach, but our outside Sissyfur, Miss Smokey catches a whole mess of them, at least one a day and gifts the Large One with the remains. I tried to get out the door one time to play with the gift of the day but I was chastised, and sent to bed for trying to escape. I'm not good at escaping anyway.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the hunt guys. And think of the 4 insider boys at Five Oaks Manor while you're catching those delicious snacks."
Those look like Python holes, not mousie holes! Careful, kitties...
ReplyDeleteNice catch Flynn. Come on Eric, you can get one too. Sure looks like a great hunting place. Hope all of you have a super day.
ReplyDeleteDushi wants to come and visit. Mousies don't want to live in our garden anymore.
ReplyDeleteOh how we've missed joining you on your adventures! Hunting for mousies! We are so excited! We can barely contain ourselves! The only mousies we ever see are the fuzzy ones mum gets at the pet shop. How big was your mousie, Flynn ! Did you nom it all? Did Eric finally catch one? Everything! Tell us everything! We are thrilled beyond words to be back on the hunt with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful spot where your mum's favourite horse is buried - in that lovely field - we wish we had seen a mousie or two while you were there.
ReplyDeleteWe hope your mum is feeling better every day.
