Do you remember that oowie I had on my face when the Beans came home from their holidays in mid November? You can see it here by my nose. Sometimes I get the itchies and I dig and dig until my face is raw. I had another one above my eye but you can't really see it in this picture. When I get the itchies I have to be stuffed into the PTU and taken to the evil vet to get stabbed.
Look, it is all better and I don't dig it at all now. The injection usually works for three months, sometimes longer so I hope I don't have to go and get stabbed again for a while.

ReplyDeleteWe're glad your oowie is better, Eric. This happens to Ernie sometimes...he gets itchy from his allergies...and when it's really bad, he has to go to the v-e-t to get stabbed, too.
ReplyDeleteWally

ReplyDeleteBad itchies are no good. glad it isn't bothering you as much now.
ReplyDeleteWe are familiar wif the stabbing fur the itchies. We hopes it lasts all season long! xoxo
ReplyDeleteEric, we're glad you're better and hope you don't need to be "stabbed" again for a very, very long time!
ReplyDeleteric that is good news as it must be such a pain when its itching all the time. I hope it lasts ages and that you dont have to go to the vet for ages. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteEric, mom just :kissed: yer face better. Sorry big guy ~ we tried to stop her but her lips were on the screen in a flash. Eeeeew. MOL! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteEric you are most handsome with or without a a boo-boo but we are very glad the itchies have gone...they can be very aggravating.
ReplyDeleteHugs Madi
We are delighted that your booboo have gone and the itches with it Eric. Now let your Mum put some mittens on your paws so you don't do it again!

We're happy that your ouchie is gone. We hope it stays away for a long time.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
It is sooooo hard to stay away from itchy spots, we totally agree. But your ouchie is looking much better now, so continue not digging it, ok?
ReplyDeleteWe hoe you had a wonderful Christmas. Our very best wishes for 2012!
Glad to hear that your oowie is better and I keep my paws crossed for NO vet-visit for a looong time !!
ReplyDeletePoor baby! Me hopes your nose is all better forever.
ReplyDeleteGlad its on the mend! That must hurt when its an open sore.
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! That is what happens with G.T. when his allergy shots don't work real well. He has to go get a shot from the v-e-t. He was getting those monthly! But then he got another test at the allergist and is on new serum, so we will hope that his shots from the v-e-t don't happen on a monthly basis anymore! Thank goodness yours last you for 3 months! And that you don't have to get allergy shots too!
ReplyDeleteLuf, Us
Glad they can fix that for you. And glad you are fixed for the moment. Lucky has to go have shots every couple of months too. Hope all of you have a wonderful day with no itchies.
ReplyDeleteI think this problem is quite common amongst kitties (and humans for that matter).
ReplyDeleteMy skin gets very dry and I scratch and scratch, sometimes until it bleeds.
Domino has that problem on her face, too.
I'm glad you have the proper medicine to prevent it from reoccurring, Eric!
oh Eric I hope the itchy goes away forever soon and you will not need these pin pricks every 3 months...a cat need to be pin free!
ReplyDeleteOh Eric, I hope your oowie go away .
ReplyDeleteThanks to say Hi to my mom. Hello from you make she feel better cause she miss me too much.
xoxo

Oh Eric! You are so handsome! Nothing could ever make that beautiful, intelligent face look less than wonderful. Even though you have to go to the V-e-t, one needle stick has to feel better scratching an owie! We have a kitty brother that has to get a shot every 2-3 months or he looses clumps of hair! Actually, although he doesn't like his PTU, he likes all the attention he gets at the vets!!
ReplyDeleteI get "the itchies" above my eye too and it usually means more prednisone.
ReplyDeleteMom is afraid for them to give me that again because she is wondering if that is what caused my "poop backup!"
We will have to ask them about a shot like you had the next time it happens.
xoxoxoxo
Glad you don't have "the itchies" anymore!
Glad to hear that your boo boo is all better now. :)
