What do you mean, get off the worktop?

I am not on the worktop, I am on the laptop case.

Or if you want to be exact,

I am half on the laptop case and half in the printer.

Now go away and let me sleep.

    Flynn, that looks like a very comfortable place to sleep. Mom just got a new laptop and won't let me (Gracie) sleep on it. I really want to take a nap on it, but she said my furs were what probably caused her other one to stop.

    We get that all the time too and what's worse if we don't jump to attention immediately we find we are being pushed towards the edge. Does your Mum do that to you too?
