A Cold Walk.

It has rained so much lately that we haven't been for a walk for a week or more. Today the sun came out at last but it is very cold with a strong easterly wind. We just like to lay in front of the woodburner, but mum asked if we wanted to go for a quick walk. We said we would if we must, so she wrapped herself up good enough to go to the Antarctic and off we went.

I left Flynn watching a mousie hole while I went and sniffed for introoder smells.

It smelled quite interesting here.

I had a good sniff but it was too cold to hang around for long. You can see how I have fluffed my fur up to try and keep warm.

Okay mum, can we go back now and thaw out?
We didn't do much visiting on Tuesday because we lost our connection in the afternoon. Luckily it was back on Wednesday, but then the desktop mousie went mental and was scrolling all over the place when we were using google reader. It was going up and down like a mad thing. Mum knew it hasn't been right for a while because sometimes it would do an Irish jig when it should be keeping still. She shut the computer down and went on the laptop and then we heard her say bad words because the mousie had cleared everything out of her reader. So, if we haven't visited you, that is why. Hopefully we will be able to get back on track now. She has got most of her photos on the desktop so is using it with an old mousie with a long tail which she says is better than nothing, but not much.

  8. My mommy had to get a new mousie because it (wireless) kept saying it was unconnected and had no power. Both not true..well, sorry..it WAS unconnected for it's own reasons. I hate mousie problems.

  11. Wow! Yous do looks fluffy! And the wind taking your internet, that happened last week here. Mommy could not work, so she readed a book using her itty-bitty-book like.
We has so many mice hanging on the office door it is not funny! Mommy says that when the pattery in her mousie goes it does jigs!

  16. Sounds like the computer mouse needs to be threatened with a kitty bitey so it straightens up... You never know, it might work MOL!
I hope you got an extra treat for enduring the frigid weather!

  18. Boys you look cold - and this wind makes you feel as though you haven't got any furs on. Mum was laughing about your Mum's mousie - ours hate the mousie on the lap top so she found an old mousie from the desk one and plugged it into the laptop and uses that instead. She said the laptop mousie had a mind of it's own!!

  19. Computers, wouldn't be fun to throw them out the window sometimes. I told a friend to do that and he said that his dogs would just retrieve it and bring it back in. Love your expression in the last picture Eric. Have a great day and stay warm.
