Watching and Waiting.

Flynn: I'm patiently waiting for a mousie.

Uh oh, here comes Eric.

No I haven't caught it yet Eric.

Eric: No point me hanging around here then.

We know that a mousie is right there somewhere in all that beautiful tall green grass.

  2. Flynn, I hope Eric didn't scare the mousie away. Thank you both so much for welcoming Oja to our family and coming to my birthday party. I am glad you had fun checking out the gopher holes.

  3. I guess only one of you has to watch for that mouse, huh?

  5. Teri keeps catching mousies up in our attic (in a mousie size havahart trap, hahameow) but she lets them go in the woods, never letting us even sniff them!

  7. Well I think there is one in there too!

  8. That grass is the prettiest I have seen and any mousie would be happy to call it home. Watch out for badgers or other mean natured critters who may snap at your tails! xoxo

  14. Patience, patience... LC used to tell me about becoming invisible gradually, seeping into the landscape, willing herself to "not be there"... She was a great mouser.

  16. Kizzie says she'll pop down and find it for you if you don't have any luck. As long as it's not raining, that is.

  17. Quite right, You could tag-team the mousies, but one Might Hunter is quite enough to get the job done!

  18. Hope you two find a mousie really soon. We just know there are some there in there for sure. Nice try. Have a great week.

  19. Eric, you should stick around. With two of you there watching, you should catch a mousie for sure!

  21. We suggest a nap with one eye open Flynn in case a mousie makes a run for freedom.

  22. Ah, I see! Eric sends Flynn out to do the hunting for him. I guess in this case, two heads are not better than one! It would scare the mousies off for sure.

  24. We were wondering if Eric is a little lazy? "You wait for the mousie and I'll join in when the fun begins..."

  29. You're right Eric. Why sit around waiting for a mousie who might never appear when there's good pheasant poop to roll in.
