After seeing that introoder kitty on our blog yesterday we asked mum what was going on. She said her and dad were walking around the old walled town of Split in Croatia and they saw the kitty sitting on the back of a motor bike. They said hello to him and mum said that he smiled so nicely at them that she had to take his photo. Now she has asked if she can put some more kitty photos on our blog.
We need to discuss this.
We thought long.......
and we thought hard about it.
We told her as long as it is only a few photos, then she could post them
here just this once. All other photos have to go on her photo blog,
(when she eventually gets around to doing it)
They met this kitty in the ancient city of Mdina on the island of Malta. She looked quite old and was sheltering from the heat on the cool marble floor.
This kitty was very friendly and was rubbing his face on the seat and put on a real loving act for our Beans. He looked in very good condition, but sadly as with most of the cats they met, he had not been neutered. They met him in Dubrovnik, Croatia.
These kitties live in a monastery on Corfu. The Beans visited there two years ago and there were a large number of kitties living there and they looked in poor condition. This time they didn't see as many but they were looking much better. As usual, the Beans took cooked meat with them, and these three had just been enjoying a snack. You can see the one on the right is licking his lips.
It's lucky we didn't find this ginger and white boy in mum's suitcase when they got back home.
This little kitty was about 5-6 months old and certainly made sure he got his share of the meat.
This sweet little girl enjoyed her snack too.
We hope you liked seeing the kitties. Mum says we shouldn't begrudge them a few scritches and some scraps of meat because they aren't as fortunate as we are, so we let her off this time.

We understand, my mum is drawn to other kitties on her holidays too. How nice of your folks to take treats with them.

Your Mom and Dad are so nice to care about the strays they meet! And you two are good sports to share your blog.
ReplyDeleteYes, I guess I agree with them too, boys. And at least you know your mum and dad weren't visiting with dogs while they were away!
ReplyDeleteThey are very sweet and Mom and Dad missed that cat love too!
ReplyDeleteThey are precious little bright souls and they needed the love, food and admiration.
ReplyDeleteThose are very lovely cat photos!
ReplyDeleteCertainly not as adorable as you are~ But I guess your bean just miss us while they were out, so watching these cats and let their thoughts connect to you!
It could be worse, guys - at least your humans did not bring any home!
ReplyDeleteYour mom and dad must be kitty magnets!
ReplyDeleteWe agree with your Mum. That's what OUR mum tell US all the time when we gunch and grumble about Interlopers in our 'hood! Looks like they did some pretty intense kitteh sightseeing on their vacay!!!
ReplyDeleteWe agreed with your decision. Those kitties are quite cute and we are glad they got a bit of spoiling :)
ReplyDeleteBesides, we got to see you handsome boys !!

They may take pictures of other kitties, scritch and feed them, but it's you guys they come home to! Just remember that, and dont worry about the ones they only take pictures of. Snuggles!
ReplyDeleteOur dad always takes pictures of the kittehs he and the mom encounter on their trips, too. That sure is nice of you to share your blog with them, guys!
ReplyDeleteYour Mum and Dad are very sweet. Too bad all kittehz can't live as well as we all do. XOXO
ReplyDeletePoor little kitties, they all look so thin :(
ReplyDeleteYou Mum and Dad were just trying to help those kitties who we suspect didn't have homes and a loving Mum and Dad like you do. Don't forget though they love you both very much.

It is very interesting to see cats from other places, far away!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely band of kitty cats.

Well, it's okay that your mum only took pictures of them and didn't try to bring any of them home! They all look like nice kitties.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of your mum and dad to bring such a nice treat to those kitties. They really are cute.
ReplyDeleteOh, they are just lovely furbabies! And so sweet of your Mum and Dad to bring them foods! srsly.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to see the kitties, but it makes our hearts hurt to know they have to fend for themselves and that generally they aren't as highly regarded as in other places in the world. We wonder if they have anyone to care for them....Certainly no TNR happening! :-/
ReplyDeletewhat loving and generous boys you are! It is so kind of you to share some meat and scritches and allow your Mum to share their photo. We pray that some kind soul will take those kitties in!
ReplyDeleteThat was very nice of you to let your human share these pictures of other kitties. I have to say they are very cute!

A very nice collection of cats from the Mediterranean and area. I wonder if you would like all that sunshine and balmy weather, Eric and Flynn. You may have to shed a bit for the warmth.
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn
ReplyDeleteI bet your Mom told you kitties were not allowed on their trip so you had to be confined....and lo and behold there were lots of beautiful kitties. I think it is time to have a serious chat with the mom
hugs Madi
What a delightful group of kitties! And your beans, they are the kindest most loving folks!!! We're sure all of those hungry tummies were thrilled.
ReplyDeleteIf the beans like to pet and care for other kitties it means we are doing our job. We're supposed to make them understand how extraordinary we are, how much we enrich their lives just by being us and how they simply cannot live without us
I am glad that you let mum post the pictures of the kitties. Mum is right and they would have loved the skritches and the food. I also loved the ginger and white one.. Hugs GJ xx
ReplyDeleteIt was nice of your mum and dad to share some foods. Glad they didn't bring any of them home.
ReplyDeleteWe like meeting foreign cats...at least in pictures anyway!
ReplyDeleteIt´s very nice of you boy´s to let your mom show us some of the cute cat´s she and your dad meet at their journey !
ReplyDeletehmmmm, me is not so sure me would be as generous as yous guys about letting Mommy post pictures of other cats on my blog! Me does not like sharing it with Kozmo (or the hary slobbery sisters). But we did enjoy seeing the foreign kitties!
