Eric's Day.

My dad did something very special for Eric.

He made this Memorial plaque to go above his grave.

Eric always loved to lie in the sun by the fence so that was the obvious place to lay him to rest.

The rose was planted to mark the grave and the bedding plants cover it.

Mum and I think the plaque looks lovely above it.

I like to sleep under the azaleas to keep close to my brother.

    Your dad was so sweet to make such a nice Memorial Plaque for beloved Eric. Wonderful idea to have this at the sunny fence that Eric loved - and now Flynn gets to enjoy sleeping under the beautiful azaleas close to his brother.

    Oh we love that plaque. The Woman's dad made one for their cat Jet that looked not dissimilar to Eric's. But what a nice memorial and a lovely rose to remember him by.

    That is so pawsome! All our brothers and sisters have some type of "headstone" but none has their name on it. Your dad is A #1 in our book. We like to stay close to our siblings after they leave us and can be found keeping a close eye on their resting places quite often.     What a lovely, touching memorial made by a loving dad for his cat-son. The beautiful marker will remind us not of Eric's tragic loss but of his wonerful, joy filled life and of the love and happiness he brought to each and every one of us. The beautiful garden reminds us that his life force has joined with nature and that he is still with us and will be forever. Kisses and hugs to dear Flynn from all of us.
