I am trying to get a bit of a tan on my tummy.
I wish the flashy box would go away though.
Dad wanted to spray the lawn because he said it is full of weeds. Mum said not to because she likes all the flowers growing in it, and the bees like them too. There are buttercups, clover, daisies and little purple flowers. Does anyone know what the little purple flowers are? They all appeared this year and mum thinks it is because the lawn kept flooding in the winter and maybe they like wet ground.
I will go back and see if I can make out the purple flowers better but I agree with your mom. You look extra handsome rolling and sunbathing in the flowers, Flynn. xxoo
ReplyDeleteYou sure look quite comfy laying in the grass and flowers Flynn!
ReplyDeleteare the violet flowers wild violets?
ReplyDeleteFlynn
ReplyDeleteBe sure to put sunscreen on your cute manly nose!

You sure look great sunning your tummy, Flynn! Are those flowers "creeping charlie?"
ReplyDeleteFlynn, make sure you flip over so you get your other side tanned. No cat wants an uneven tan. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your sunbathing!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your SUNday!!

My human couldn't ID a flower to save her life! At least she can ID a kitty, MOL!
ReplyDeleteFlynn, some said " The only difference between a flower and a weed is ...judgment." For me, I think all flowers in your lawn are pretty : )

The plant looks like it might be Self-Heal / Heal-All from what we can see of it . It usually grows taller but your dad mows. We're looking via our cell phone so we can't see well.
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely glorious, sweetheart, in your field of wildflowers. A lovely setting for a sweet and lovely boy. We mean this in the very best way: is your tummy filling out a bit? It suits you marvelously! All of our love and
kisses.
We think your grass is beautiful with all the flowers growing in it but you are the most beautiful of all Flynn :-)
ReplyDeleteWe wanted to thank you for Jimmy's birthday wishes and let you know that we are returning to regular blogging next week :-) Hope you'll pop back again for a visit!
Flynn, we hope that you will get some good sun on that wonderful tummy of yours and we love the flowers in the grass, too.
ReplyDeleteDon't furget to flip and tan the other side! Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeletesounds like a great idea Flynn!xx Speedy
ReplyDeleteWe can FEEL the sun on you...
ReplyDeleteWe so agree with Mum about the wild flowers that are called weeds. We have a lot of them too and think they are great. Flynn, you do look comfy in the nice grass there. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteYou laying in the flowers is so poetic.
ReplyDeleteTHe sunshine, and grass smell must be really perfect!!
ReplyDeleteYou've got a great place to relax while you get the sunshine on your handsome tummy.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
Flynn, be careful those cute pink paw pads don't get sunburned! Your daddy simply must not spray your beautiful carpet of little flowers!
ReplyDeleteI like all of the little flowers too, just don't get stung!
ReplyDeletexoxo
Have an easy Sunday Flynn.

That looks soooo comfy in the sun among the flowers. Be careful and don't chase the bees. They might tell you they don't appreciate it with their pointy bits.
ReplyDeletePlease don't spray. It's not good for Flynn and wild flowers and weeds are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSpraying them would be such a shame!! I think those flowers look like clover!
ReplyDeleteOh Flynn, Yous looks so furry snorggleable and cuddleable laying on the flowers! If me comes over, will yous gives me a bath?
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
ooooh Flynn! I'll be right over to put sunscreen on your tummy if it starts to get pink!
ReplyDeletexx Sweet Pea
Those flowers look like they'd be really fun to play with! ...that is when your not sleeping in the sun.
ReplyDelete; ) Katie
Flynn those flowers look like just the perfect spot to sunbath!
ReplyDeleteIf I had my druthers I'd have a field of wildflowers rather than a lawn. But that's just me.
ReplyDelete*scritches*
Can tell you I couldn´t go out and get a better tan today :(
ReplyDeleteIt has been all grey all day , but atleast NO rain :)
Me and mom LOVE your flowering lawn !
Don´t let your daddy spray it with anything that kills the beutiful flowers !!
P.S No working phone or internet yet *sigh*
Glad that mom are having a lot of speed on her smartphone so we can use that as a modem :)
You look so relaxed in the flowers - enjoy your day!
ReplyDeletecats of wildcat woods
My bro does that same thing with his front feet, Flynn!
ReplyDeleteWe think the flowers should stay too. The bees need them!
We think the lawn looks much more interesting like it is than just all plain green. Also, it gives you more stuff to sniff at and maybe eat. Mmmmmm.
ReplyDeleteThat sunshine looks wonderful...we've been having ridiculously heavy rains for the last two days! I think we better start on the ark!
