Remembering Skeezix.

Before Eric and I started blogging nearly seven years ago we lurked for a while. One of our favourite blogs to visit was Skeezix. We don't have just one favourite memory of him, there are many.
I think it was he and Kaze who started Frootbat Friday, and he had two of the best frootbats we had seen.

His fashion sense was legendary too and here he shows off his Thanksgiving sweater with the turkey motif.

One of the things we enjoyed was seeing all the photos of the places he passed when he went out in his stroller, and that was another chance for him to show off his great fashion sense.

Of course his love of pink didn't end at his clothes. He made sure he was always perfectly pawdicured.

We followed his road trips to Bakersfield and his ambition was to drive a car like Toonces did. He looked a real pro behind the wheel.
 You have given us years of pleasure reading of your adventures Skeezix and we thank you for the many happy memories. You are very much loved and missed by all.

    We didn't know Skeezix (I know! How could that even BE??? And I think he must've been a California Kitty too!) but we love a ManCat who is not afraid of The PINK!

    Mes too Loved reading Skeezix's posts and drooled over his clothes! We too readed his blogs way before we started ours. Wes will mis him and his sense of humor. Lovely tribute to a wonderful cat!

    He certainly had a style all his own. He's one of the few cats I know who liked to take walks. Just like with Eric, he leaves a void and will be missed.

    Yep - you captured some of our favorite memories too! You have a nice pink background as well. Eric and Skeezix are probably romping around over the bridge together now. Now that's special!

    Iremembered that Skeezix invented the term "frootbats" for his ears, but I had forgotten that he started Frootbat Friday. I miss him in so many ways.
