Eric's Day - In The Snow.

We don't often get much snow here but when we do, Eric would like to go and check it out. I think only one or two of these photos may have been used in an old post.

Everything looked different so it all had to be carefully examined.

When he had done that he would have a rest under the patio table.

And when he was satisfied everything was in order, he could go back indoors to warm up by the fire.

  7. You were a brave cat; we don't like snow much. Mom tries to bring in a bit from the outside for us to sniff and we just back away from it, MOL. It's always so nice to see you, sweet angel Eric. <3

  16. We don't get snow very often either, but I could never be as brave as Eric to actually check it out!

We wanted to thank you for your kind words when PQ ran off to the Bridge. I bet she and Eric have certainly met up by now. Thank you too for her memorial photo on your sidebar.

  21. I like the photo where he is "gingerly" (no pun intended), holding his paw up, almost like he is tippy-toeing through the snow. We miss that sweet boy!

  23. I get to see the white stuffs but I haven't been allowed into it. The one who came before, Robin, was an indoor outdoor girl and she would go out in the snow but not stay long. She preferred having her privy outside. Sometimes we would have to dig a trench to the place she preferred to use because she was just a tiny 5 pound girl and would be overcome trying to get through the snow. xxoo

  28. Just popped back to say re slow internet that we are with BT, so it is very strange we've all had it slow in different parts of the country as well! We are supposed to be getting superfast fibre optics here soon, but it's not rolled out as far as us yet :( xx

  29. Burrrrrrr! Cold kitty feeties!
He was magnificent, our Eric, and the snow really set off his colouring. His beautiful white chest sparkles like the
snow and his orange furs seem to
glow from within. We miss him much.

  35. Some of our Angels went out and walked in the snow. Dad says it was always a lot of fun the first fall of the year to watch how they walked daintily over the fresh snow.

  36. We know that feeling being here in Canada... so much snow. My cats won't walk far in it - way too offensive to the paws.

  37. I went out in the snow once when I was a kitten living in Iowa. Although I am made for the snow, I was not a fan. Give me a warm bed any day.
