Checking for Intruders.

The rain stopped at last for a couple of hours so I told mum I would take her for a walk.

On the way I got the smell of introoders so I had to stop and make it smell better.

Sniff sniff sniff.

This isn't right.

I can't get out for a few days and when I do, the introoder smell is everywhere.

Oh no! It is really strong here.

I will need to work hard to cover this smell. Can you see the drool I am putting on the evil smell?

Is that better. Can you see it now?  That should teach the introoder to keep away.

  2. I'd never considered drool as a weapon before. I wonder if it would work on Buddah...

  7. It looks like you made sure that if the introoder came back, he would know that was your territory!

  8. Flynn, is that "kitty markings" on the fence in the first photo? If you bleached that wood, you sure work too hard! Maybe it's time for a little mousie snack, huh?

  9. You certainly have your work cut out for you. A cat recently sprayed my patio door, but mom got some anti-cat-spray stuff so I wouldn't smell that naughty cat and be upset by it.

  10. Most excellent technique! I can learn from the expert. Trouble is, I kept doing it inside the house....

  19. With all this rain Flynn we think you might need to keep peeing so any intruders will know it's your fence.

  21. Flynn, are you going to have enough pee to mark everything? You really have your work cut out for you. Wish we could help.

  22. I agree...a cat's work is never done. Humans just don't realize how hard we work! And that looks like a lot of fence to patrol.

  23. Humans sometimes don't realise how hard a cat works to protect his home. Good for you, Flynn.

And thanks for the comment on Tucker regarding wet vs dry food. Though my beasts like wet food, they just don't eat enough of it, though Tucker seems to have gone off dry food (for now) so maybe he will eat more of the soft stuff.

  41. We have had some introoders here too. When we do I get worked up and grab Mr Buttons by the scruff to dominate him. Then he grabs Einstein and down the row it goes.
