This week the flashback comes from December 2007, and was when Eric proudly brought his mousie in for mum.

Look mum, I've brought you a present.

And I caught it myself. Flynn didn't help me at all. Aren't I clever?

Are you sure you don't want it? I did bring it in just for you.
Well if you're really sure, then I'll eat it myself, but please stop telling me to take it outdoors. It's much too cold to eat out there.
He certainly was proud of his hunting and that was a nice plump mousie too!
ReplyDeleteThat was very thoughtful of Eric to share with you!
ReplyDeleteImagine, your Mom not wanting the mouse! All the more for you ;)
ReplyDeleteGood memory.

Darling Eric. Our Robin who was an indoor outdoor girl used to being us all manner of foods in.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool that Eric caught his very own mouse. Did you let him eat it? We never get to eat the mouses we catch. Mom says she doesn't want to do the clean up after we hurl mouse parts. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
