This week our flashback comes from February 2008 and was originally an Easy Like Sunday.
This is a small pony stable but there is no-one living in it at the moment. Dad brings over some hay and straw from the big barn and puts it here ready for when the horses need it. there is a skylight in the roof that lets the sun shine in, so it is a good place to take it easy on Sundays and every other day of the week.
Sometimes when we are sitting here we can hear a mousie in the straw so we have to watch and listen. We can't usually get them because the straw is on pallets, and the mousies go under the pallets where we can't get at them. If we sit very quiet and patient, sometimes they come out because they don't know we are still there. Then POW!!! we get them. hehe
Aww, Eric.
ReplyDeleteI know he's still watching over you while you go mousing, Mister Flynn.
That was sure a fun time with dear Eric.
ReplyDeleteYou two always and ever make my mommy smile And me as well.. Kissies.
ReplyDeleteYou know the best places for hunting mousies!
ReplyDeleteWe will be at Sparkle's Memorial. The two of you really know how to hunt mousies.
ReplyDeleteYou guys were great with the mousies. Now, if only I could find my way back to Sparkle's commentathon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cozy spot for mousing. We shared the photo on Twitter with a new photo app called Buffer.

How fun to hang out and hunt for mousies! Eric seems like a really cool guy, and I am sure you miss him lots, Flynn. Thanks so much for posting the graphic for Sparkle's memorial service - I really appreciate it!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness, that looks like a great place to hang out. Nothing better than a good bale of hay to watch for mousies. We sure miss you Eric. Happy Friday to everyone.
ReplyDeleteWe love flashbacks, especially when they are good ones, 'cause then we can pretend they're the present, even for just a moment.
ReplyDeleteTwo ginger kitties on hay makes a pretty picture for sure. Flynn, we know you miss Eric and I know he still visits the places you both loved. xx
Mom Julie and kitties
You two were so lovely together, Flynn, but we're sure Eric is proud of you, when you're cat-ching another mousie. We have to visit your furriend now and already have tears in our eyes. Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend and thanks for your support while Granny had to work out her busy schedule :)
ReplyDeleteYou two sure worked together as a team to get those mousies. We bet Eric still helps you, Flynn.
ReplyDeleteIt looked a very snug place for sitting. No wonder you boys liked it.
ReplyDeleteOh, I want to mention that Random Felines is having a commentathon, too, for a local shelter, in honour of Sparkle's contributions. Please stop in there.
A perfect place to relax!
