Mum and dad should have been on a cruise to the Canary Islands for the last 2 weeks but they cancelled it because they didn't want to leave me after I had been so ill.
As you know, it was their wedding anniversary last week so they went to a bed and breakfast place in Cornwall for three days. It was only 40 miles away so they knew that if I had a setback they could be home again in about an hour. I did well with my holiday aunties, and the vet nurse who keeps her horse with us gave me my thyroid pill every day.
They stayed in the downstairs room of a converted barn with big thick granite walls and said it was lovely.
