An Update.

Lots of you have been asking how I'm doing, well over all I'm doing well. My squirts have mostly stopped now although they are still not right, but a lot better. I am eating better too. Not as much as I used to, but I'm getting there. We are hoping the antibiotic injection is out of my system now.
I am going for walks again and enjoying them. Mum says I have got the spring back in my step and I go bouncing down the track ahead of her.
The last 2 mornings I have had the zoomies and I haven't done that for some time. I have started playing again too.
I go back to the vet next week for another blood panel so we are hoping all the numbers will be good. That means I will have a bald throat again. I think I might need a scarf. Mum will get another pee sample from me to see if there is still blood present. If there is we are going to live with that because it doesn't affect me at all. I drink well and I pee well. The antibiotics to treat it have caused far too many problems for me and I was lucky to pull through after the convenia injection.
I am still being very good for my daily thyroid pill and don't struggle at all. Mum pops it back my throat and squirts a small syringe of water down to make sure it goes right down.
I will give another update when I have the bloods results in a week or so.
Thank you my friends for caring about me.

Flynn, we're glad for the update. That Convenia is bad, bad stuff. Well, any injected med is trickier, because once it's in, it takes a while to be purged from the body. Much better to do pills or syringed meds or meds crushed in food. Purrs and paws crossed for good results at your check up!

Flynn this report makes me VERY VERY happy! Mostly it's wonderful hearing that you're being more like your "old self" - that's what my Mom's struggling with - my behavior changes. I go next week for my checkup and I'm hoping the one pill a day has been enough to get me in normal range. Sigh. Getting old is not for the squeamish is it?!?!?!

Hugs, Sammy

Wow we are sooo glad you are better Flynn. We have not been able to visit or even check our email due to Dads shoulder problem and did not know about this! So glad you are feeling better. We will send lots of purrs and prayers.
We hate that Convena and have heard so many bad things Dad will no longer give it to us.
You should ask for your pill like Rumpy gets his. Dad makes his own pill pockets out of kibble put through a coffee mill. He wets it and forms it around he pill. When it dries it is just like a treat which Rumpy eats with gusto. Dad then gives a few more to make sure it all goes down well. We like it too cause he gives us all a treat along with.
