Our 9th Blogoversary!
It is hard to believe that it was 9 years ago today that Eric and I started blogging with a little bit of help from my mum.
Once again, our first post can be found here.
Our first ever commenter was Oscar the Wonder Cat from Australia. He very rarely posts now but his blog is still there.
The next day mum was brave and found how to post some photos. She didn't make a very good job of positioning them, but with our help she got better over the years.
This is the third blogoversary we have had to celebrate without Eric and we miss him as much as ever. We continue to honour his memory with our Eric's Day Friday Flashbacks.
It was touch and go for a while around Christmas whether I would be still here to celebrate this one, but I am and I intend to be here for our 10th blogoversary too.
I want to thank everyone for being our friends over the years, and for all the purrs and support at the times we have needed them.
Me and mum have looked out a few pictures of me and Eric together from our earlier years. I hope you enjoy them.

Many, many congratulations: 9 years is an incredible achievement. Why, Äiti was still in England nine years ago. And we are so glad that you got to number 9, and hope for many more because you are one major mancat with sisu - you could be a Finncat Flynn.
We think Eric is very proud of how you have carried on.
And we hope Äiti will come down to visit you in October, but we're not so sure how the plans are going. In the meantime many, many congrats and here's to number 10!

Nine years, eh, Flynn? Wow. I'll bet the time seems to have flown. And three years without Eric already? You two were great together. I love how you did everything together; the picture of the two of you surveying your kingdom is a favourite of mine.
And yes, figuring out the actual mechanics of a blog is tough at first. I'm still wrestling with some aspects. But I'm glad your mum decided to help you start up, and I'm sure you will be blogging for many years to come.

Happy 9th Blogoversary! That's a lotta ohotos, posts & a bunch of work hours making it all happen.. It is hard to believe Eric has been gone 3 yrs. already. He was truly an amazing orinchj mancat . We know that no one misses Eric more than his mom & dad and, of course, Flynn. Thank you for Flashback Friday so we can all remember when the boys were young & best buddies. It is a fitting tribute to Eric. You are so lucky to have all those wonderful photos that document all the adventures Eric & Flynn had together. While Flynn had such a difficult year with his medical issues, it has been amazing to see what tremendous progress he has made in recent months. We hope he continues to regain his health. It is wonderful to see him hunting mousies in the fields or wresting with his dad in the cool grass. You did a fantastic job nursing him back to health. We look forward to celebrating your 10th Blogoversary in 2016,
