Mum was on the computer last night and dad was watching TV. Suddenly she heard a mouse squeaking and yelled to dad, "Flynn's just come in with a live mouse!"
I was so pleased to have caught one at last that I brought it in to show them.
They knew how long I had been trying to catch the sneaky mouse that they even let me eat it indoors which of course is as it should be.
I haven't been eating as much as I should do lately, but that was the tastiest supper I have had in a long time.

ReplyDeleteWhoa Flynn that is gross!! Don't eat in front of them...its rude....you would have to get them their own mouse each. You know how hard it was just getting one so forget getting more. You'd have to find a nest and they sure wouldn't wait for you to come and snatch one of them up. No, best just go somewhere private and enjoy your catch.

I couldn't believe that, even with four cats and a big dog in the house, we had a mouse run across the floor the other night! And what did all the kitties do? They took it to my room and played with it, gently so as not to hurt it. I had to catch it and dispose of it myself.

ReplyDeleteWe have not had a live mousie in our den for a long time...even when the cold started. Now of course they will be outside...meowmy found dead mole outside its tunnel hole yesterday, eeuuwwww! Dog guy did not do that, he would have shredded it, eaten some and then rolled in it, YUCK!
