Friends, Ships and a Tractor.

Mum is posting more of her photos again this week from when carol and Barrie came to stay. After visiting Dartmoor and Cornwall they stayed local on the third day and went into Plymouth. Barrie had said he wanted to see the ships in the Royal Naval Dockyard. Mum said the best way to do that would be with a boat trip, so that is what they did.

They were in luck because there were quite a few ships in the yard.


HMS Ocean,  the navy's flagship which is a helicopter landing craft.


The frigate, HMS Somerset.
They also walked around Plymouth Hoe and the Barbican which is the old part of Plymouth.


Then it was back home and more cuddles for me.


I haven't forgotten! Now for the photos of Barrie and Carol driving my dad's tractor.


Barrie went first.


Yikes! Don't run us over!!


Next was Carol. Yes, that is my dad's legs in there. he was making sure she was okay driving it.


Don't think he need have worried, it looks like she had fun.

    Wow, that was great fun and we enjoyed seeing those pictures of the big ships,it reminded our petcretary of when she used to live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She would often see ships like that in the harbour there.

    a tractor in years. First thing l ever
    drove..aged 10. HeHe! :).

    Of course, we enjoyed all the photos, what a nice trip and stay ! We like specially the red tractor. Our Colibri hopes also to have fun one day with the green tractor of our neighbour, hi !

    WOW....your friends sure did a lot while they were visiting and part of that included lots of cuddles for you!!! YAY!!! I bet driving that tractor was FUN. Mom's yard tractor is tiny compared to that one....

    It looks like it was a good excursion to the naval yards. If Carol and Barrie got to drive the tractor, maybe they should have asked about a ship; they may've been given a chance at the helm.
