Shrinking Sun Puddles.
During the summer I have enjoyed coming in here and getting the evening sun puddles. I seem to be waiting a long time for them to get here lately.
Something's wrong, I think it has shrunk.
I can only get my paws in it.
I'm not very pleased about this.
Well that was a waste of time, it's gone already. Mum says I will have to wait until next spring before it comes back again, so I suppose I will have to find my sun puddles elsewhere.

Oh, no, that is so sad.
ReplyDeleteWe are noticing the same think Flynn.
ReplyDeleteWe miss those long summer days with almost endless sun.
Good luck in your hunt!

Our sun puddles get bigger int he winter months and smaller in the summer.
ReplyDeleteDang Flynn, we all need a sunpuddle on demand button!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Mom could move the couch, Flynn?
ReplyDeleteFollow the sun!
xxoo
Maggie, Mickey Mouser, and Rufus the Red
Our sun puddles have become fewer and farther between lately, too, Flynn. Well, until spring you'll just have to stay warm by getting lots of extra snuggles from your mom and dad. That doesn't sound so bad!
ReplyDeleteOr, your Mum could move the sofa...
ReplyDeleteHee-hee!
Yep, they're getting smaller here, too, Flynn!
ReplyDeleteAnother option, Stay close to the pawrents'a lap. It's warm too !
ReplyDelete=^x^=
Oh no, Flynn. Maybe o e will sneak in.
ReplyDeleteSorry the sun is hiding on you Flynn. I love all these photos of you though and those are great pillows too. XO
ReplyDeleteStinks!
ReplyDeleteWell, that's a bummer! Your fall sun puddles are already almost gone.
ReplyDeleteAnd we love those pillows too!
ReplyDeleteOh sweetheart, if it were possible, we'd get you 1,000 sun puddles! We know you mum will make you comfy spots wherever she can find sun.
ReplyDeleteThose pillows! That's the story of our family!
Oh dear Flynn our sun puddles are getting lazy so we know the dark nights are well on their way too.
ReplyDeleteI hate it when this time of year rolls around - it gets cold again AND the sun puddles shrink. Darn!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
There should be a law!
ReplyDeleteWe know, Flynn...sunpuddles seem to be so hard to find starting this time of year.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear that your sunpuddle has shrunk, Flynn. We hope you find a new sun spot!
ReplyDeleteTell us about it! And we had snow today too. Open up the Argos catalog and point firmly at the heat and SAD lamps!Maybe they'll get the hint.
ReplyDeleteOh I'm certainly sure your mom will make sure that you'll enjoy fall as much as you enjoy summer!
ReplyDeleteYes, the sun-puddles in my apartment are moving and shrinking, too, Flynn. The sun is off to southern climes and what light there is, is rather thin. Just another five months until spring, though.
ReplyDeleteWe're seeing the same thing here, Flynn, and #1 says it's only going to get worse from the weekend.
ReplyDeletePurrs,
The Chans
We hope you find a new sun puddle soon.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
We're holding YOU to that next spring Flynn.
ReplyDeleteOur sunpuddles are shortening too because it gets dark so much earlier now and very very soon our time changes (what a stupid thing we do!!) in fact I think it's this weekend and it will be dark before 6pm! EEEK
Hmmmmmmm. Get a bit closer to the window maybe? We hope you find a sunny spot before spring!!
ReplyDeleteWe noticed the same phenomenon here too, Flynn. Can you imagine that it will be worst in a few days ? We heard Claire talking about it with Momo. Purrs
ReplyDeleteDearest Flynn, mom and I would MAKE some sunbeams for you if we only could! And brng them right to you.
ReplyDeleteOur sunpuddles are shrinking here, too. Might be time to bring out some fleecy blankets!
ReplyDeletedood...tell yur dad ta sawz a hole in de roof...that will let in mor sun ...honest ! heerz ta 9 tinz & 187 purr cent kibble ♥♥♥♥♥
ReplyDeleteDoesn't that stink when you finally find a sun puddle in a comfy spot and it flies south for the winter.
ReplyDeleteFLYNN I HEAR YOU GOOD BUDDY. THIS TIME OF YEAR THERE ARE MORE MOON PUDDLES.
ReplyDeleteLOOKING GOOD MY FRIEND!!
HUGS MADI YOUR BFFF
How sad for you, Flynn! We are having the same problem here in Chicago.
ReplyDeleteFlynn, darling, mes feels your pain! My luscious sun puddle is now on the OTHER SIDE of the apartment building...but wes had no sun and only rain too...
ReplyDeleteKisses
Nellie
Days shorter, the sun puddles don't last as long, in different windows. I want summer again.
ReplyDeleteWe understand completely, Flynn. Our sunpuddles are shrinking, too! :(
ReplyDeleteShrinking sun puddles should be banned! At least our window that has the best sunpuddles is south facing so we can catch what little there are of them until the days get longer once again...
ReplyDeleteWe hate the long dark nights even more than the hiding sunbeams...but at least now the best spots in the den are by the heating vents, ahhh!
I feel you so much!!! It's so sad to see those sun puddles shrinking:(
ReplyDeleteHannah
I can't find a sunpuddle on my couch either, Flynn, somehow the Sun plays tricks on us :D Pawkisses :) <3
ReplyDeleteThe sun is shrinking everywhere Flynn...it's time for blanket snuggles!
ReplyDeleteThat's the only thing I don't like about this time of year--fewer sun puddles! Maybe you can dream about them. Then before you know it, it will be spring and you can lie in them again.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww Flynn, mew need to come and have a vay-cay on level eight of the bunker in the Biosphere, the sun shines as much as mew want dude!
