Eric's Day Flashback - Cold Toesies.

This week the flashback comes from November 2010 and is called:

Cold Toesies.

We haven't been for a walk for the last three days because it has been bitterly cold. The furthest we have been is out in the garden, but today the wind dropped so mum asked if we wanted to go out in the fields.

Flynn: Hmm, I don't know if this was a good idea. I've got frozen toesies in this icy grass,

Eric: You're right, I don't think I want to put my feet in it.

Nope, a walk was definitely not the best idea.

Flynn: I had to floof my fur up and even my tail to keep warm.

I managed to stop for a few minutes to check the smells on the grass though.

Eric: That's enough for me. I'm going back in by the fire. Are you coming Flynn?

  12. I bet it was nice getting some fresh air, Flynn and Angel Eric. But, cold toesies are just no fun. I bet the warm fire was lovely after this little journey outside.

  16. Mum and dad's nice, warm laps will warm up those chilly feeties in a flash. That, the toasty fire and a tasty treat should do the trick.

  17. Haha. I haven't yet blogged about it because I wanted to take a picture first. Tessa has a new thing outside: she sits on my shoulder, putting her feet in my scarf.

It took me a while until I understood that she's doing this to keep her feet warm until it's worth the cold , like e.g. a bird jumps by...

Good for her that she's got staff. :D

  22. Flynn, do you and did Flynn shake your paws when they get cold or wet? Mom always laughs at us in the winter as we shake our paws before we go out on the catio. We do it in anticipation of the cold. She thinks we're goofy. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
