Memories - Outdoor Togetherness.
The boys always loved their walks together in the fields.
It was fun to explore.
Comparing notes.
Checking hedges......
and mouse holes.
Keeping watch for intruders.
Perimeter patrol.
There was always chance to rest afterwards.
But they still kept a lookout.
Time to enjoy some sun.
A bit more relaxation....
and time to discuss the days events.
Heading back home. The path you can see them following was made by their constant use of it.
Last check for intruders.
A quick rest on the blocks.....
then time for a leisurely bath.
Then another rest after a hard day's patrol.

ReplyDeleteVery sweet flashback, I love the photo of them comparing notes. XO
ReplyDeleteSome of our best memories of the boys were them out in the fields. We loved seeing them out there.

ReplyDeleteit#s great to have a pawtner and friend on your side while eggs-ploring and looking for adventures...like indiana jones and sallah ;o)
ReplyDeleteLuv seeing your pics together.
ReplyDeleteThose two were the BEST perimeter patrol team EVER. They knew all the spots to keep an eye out for introoders - walls, fields, fences - they certainly kept everything in order! They also were two of the most gorgeous ginger boys EVER.
ReplyDeleteLove, Pam and Teddy too

What a wonderful and enviable life the boys had! And best of all, they had each other. They were brothers through and through.
ReplyDeleteI, too love the little path the boys made in the tall grass. Their little paws repeatedly pressing down the grass, seeing it again brings tears to my eyes.
Wonderful pictures of their brotherly teamwork !
ReplyDeleteThey had a good life, didn't they!
ReplyDeleteThat path is so funny! They were so adorable together.
ReplyDeleteoh I sooo miss these boys!! xoxo catchatwithcarenandcody
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE the way the boys spent so much time outside TOGETHER! We all go our separate ways outside (though we do cross paths and do some chase games sometimes).
ReplyDeleteWe always love seeing the two of you together. You were such sweet brothers.

I love seeing your boys' adventures. In some of the pictures, Eric looks larger than Flynn - but maybe that's just the angle. I want to express how I feel, but I'm not sure how to put it in words, so please excuse me if this ends up not making sense ... I truly love your blog - following your boys on their adventures - seeing their relationship. Thank you for sharing them with us. Thank you for making my day with their pictures every time you post. I can't imagine your sense of loss - both handsome boys were almost larger than life.
ReplyDeleteSuch wonderful memories of beloved angels Eric and Flynn. Thank you for continuing to share them with us. Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteEric and Flynn completed each other....their love and devotion to each other and you and their peeps showed in every single post.
ReplyDeleteHugs madi and Mom
PS we are glad your card made it across the pond

Beautiful photos, and sweet memories. Eric and Flynn were "one and complete" together, it's amazing to see. Purrs
ReplyDeleteOH, if you could see my face...my smile from ear to ear..and know my heart..which is filled with love for those boys...I would be so glad for you to know that. XX
ReplyDeleteIt is always a delight to see what the boys got up to, the adventures and friendship I think are un-parralleled and I love them so much. I love the team work on patrol and the mousing too... that makes me smiles much I wish I could have been there to learn from them both...
ReplyDeleteGentle purrs
