This week the Friday Flashback comes from March 2012 and is called:
Finding Flynn.
Flynn is going in the tractor shed. I better see what he's up to.
Where did he go? Are you in the trailer Flynn?
Nope, he's not here.
Oh, this is a nice sun puddle though.
Yes, a very nice one that's too good to waste.
S'pose I should look for Flynn.
Nope, this sun puddle has got my name on it.
He's been gone a long time! I can't see him so I hope he hasn't got lost somewhere.
He's completely disappeared!
I better go home and see if he's gone back there.
Ah, there he is! I should have guessed he'd be looking for fevvers in the hedge.
My art this week isn't taken from any of these photos.
I saw Marv's art last week and really liked it. He used Google's Deep Dream Generator and I had not heard of it before. I tried it on one of Eric's photos and like the way it came out so am using it this week.
You can see more art with Athena The Cat Goddess.
I have also made it into a puzzle.
Click on the small picture to do it on Jigsaw Planet.

Now mum can have her fun with the puzzle :)
We love how you always looked out for one another, sweet angel boys. That is a gorgeous photo!
ReplyDeleteoh a tractor is the purrfect toy for boys... we would like to have one too... butt the mama said we are even dangerous enough without one ...sigh..
ReplyDeleteIt must have been hard for Eric to pull himself away from that sun puddle!
ReplyDeleteSun puddles are wonderful excuses for dawdling:)
ReplyDelete16:37 on that puzzle...
A lovely sunny spot and some privacy too! Marvelous!
ReplyDeleteLike your very own little world.

At our house, taking advantage of a really good sunpuddle takes priority over finding out what happened to a fellow fursib. They eventually turn up, especially at meal times. Loved the art. We are going to go check out that Deep Dream generator too.
ReplyDeleteA good sunpuddle will get you every time!
ReplyDeleteFinding a great sunpuddle is the very best.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Feline Friday.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
Well I can totally understand why Eric would forego hunting for his brother to stop and enjoy that sun puddle! Glad he found him though - I knew he would eventually! That Google Deep Dream Generator is rather amazing - looks JUST like a painting. We will have to try that one!!
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy
Angels Eric and Flynn made fun no matter where they were or what they were doing. I always enjoyed them on the farm equipment...especially in the driver's seat.
ReplyDeletehugs Cecilia
So angel Eric is now officially a "red" cat? :)
ReplyDeleteWe have missed you guys so much
ReplyDeleteGlad to have stopped by to see what you Angels were up to

You are dreamy Eric but not as dreamy as Flynn. I thought I was gonna have to come looking for him.
ReplyDeleteOh dear boys! I so adore you both and miss you so much. XXXX
ReplyDeleteBeing distracted by that sunbeam is purrfectly understandable!
ReplyDeleteAll those pictures are great, but the "painting" of Eric you made is beautiful !
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun flashback. That sun sure looked good. And Eric’s painting is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou got some good sun puddle time for all of your trouble!
ReplyDeleteSo much ginger goodness!
ReplyDeleteWe'd love a farm and all those mousie hiding places. Those pictures brought back many memories. Äiti thanks you for the links to the jigsaws and has Nordkapp envy (she never quite got there!).
ReplyDeleteEric, you always were a magnet for those sun puddles!
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo art! Haven't heard of it before.
ReplyDeletePurrs xx

Eric, if it wasn't for the wonderful sun puddle you would have found him quicker. You are a great brother for making sure that he was safe. Thanks for sharing the lovely flashback photos. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteWorld of Animals
Such beautiful photos (and art)! That tractor shed looks fun to explore in.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy these flashbacks. Eric and Flynn were such cuties. XO
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a great story! It has suspense AND sunpuddles. 2 of my purrsonal favorite things! I LOVE what you did with the deep dream generator! It looks most wonderful and I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI hope you make more.

We love how Eric and Flynn always looked after one another. Lovely artwork, Jackie. Big hugs.
ReplyDeleteYeah, a good sunpuddle is a horrible thing to waste. Another wonderful flashback and very pretty art.
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised Eric ever left that sun-puddle. It was concentrated sunshine, all right.
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha! Sometimes the Human searches like that for ME and she gets kind of frantic when she can't find me and then I reappear and she's all happy to see me but I never tell her where I have been hiding because what's the fun in that???
ReplyDeleteGreat flashback, and lovely art ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteThat must have been real hard to find your brother, angel Eric, but I think that the sunpuddle made it all good :D Great artwork, we really like it :) Pawkisses for a Happy Day🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteLove.

Good thing he didn't sneak up and scare you while you were enjoying the sunpuddle.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I love seeing the boys out and about. A farm is a wonderful place, so many places for sun puddles and mice and feathers. Great name for a cat pub– the Mouse and Feather. MOL
ReplyDeleteHave a great week
