This week the flashback comes from April 2012 and is called:
The Scary Intruder.
Eric: We were in the field happily nomming on grass,
When suddenly I spied something that shouldn't be there.
I had to have a second look! An introoder had dared to come into our field!
I will sneak around from the side and catch him unawares. He will be scared when he sees me puffed up.
Huh? Who put that plastic bag in our field?
Of course I knew all along it was just a bag. How dare mum question my mancatliness and call me a scaredy cat. I was only practicing puffing up for when introoders do introod.
For my Caturday Art this week I have made 2 versions of the third photo. I always seem to use the darker more autumnal colours lately so have tried some different layers this week.
#1 still has a lot of the darker greens but not the browns.
I started with Fairy at 35%, then Tattoo also at 35% and finished with Quirky at 25%.
#2 is very different to the colours I usually look for.
I started with Beauty at 50%, then Floating at 20% finishing with Fantasy at 55%. Which is your favourite?
You can find more Caturday Art by visiting Athena, The Cat Goddess.
Of course I also have a puzzle so click on the small picture to do it.

Practice makes purrfect. What a wonderful flashback and art.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day. ♥
Besides, you always have to make sure the bag isn’t being used as a disguse by some nefarious someone or something.
ReplyDeleteYou darling boys. THE most mancatly there are ever was!~
ReplyDeleteOhhhh bags... just can't trust 'em. Those boys were wise.
ReplyDeleteWe would have been terrified seeing Eric all puffed up like that! We love the art this week.
ReplyDeleteMOL, fluffing up over a plastic bag! Poor Eric, that was not one of his more fabulous moments.
ReplyDeletegood that you found that intruder... maybe the bag wanted to be with you because it wanted a cat inside?
ReplyDeleteWell Eric was right to show that plastic bag who's boss! Plastic bags are sneaky especially when caught by the wind. We like #1 photo the best with the fall-ish colors but both of them are wonderful - any photos of those handsome guys are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam (and Teddy too)
ReplyDeleteThat was such a good job that you did even if it was a plastic bag. It could have been something very dangerous. We really like the art pictures. Love the colors. You all have a great day.
Ha, anything smaller and it would have been lunch. Love your card of the boys xo
ReplyDeleteYou can't be too careful with introoders! The art is two boy fabulous!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can never be too careful. And plastic bags can be scary! So it’s best to always be on guard.
ReplyDeleteNooo never trust a bag they are bad news I like seeing their past shenanigans heheh!

You have such wonderful photos of Eric and Flynn! It's a good thing he found that scary plastic bag! Happy Holidays to all of you.
ReplyDeleteHello to you two handsome ginger Angels....
ReplyDeleteYour duties as grounds keepers was taken very seriously. I'm surprised any introoooder made it into your yard.
Hugs Cecilia
It seems that we both had introoders in our yards:) We would love to send you a Christmas Card. If you are OK with sharing it, can you send us your email addy: theoppackATgmailDOTcom? Thanks.

That jigsaw puzzle was HARD! Took us elebenty minutes to finish it!
ReplyDeletePracticing to puff up ... hahahahaha.
ReplyDeleteYou showed that plastic bag...even if it was just practice. ;)
ReplyDeleteI love your artwork because they always look like paintings xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the first one best and I agree with Caren. We got your card today. Thank you! I haven't mailed mine yet.
ReplyDeleteYet another wonderful flashback. Hey boys, you never know if that bag might've been a scary creature. Always better to be cautious. Both versions of the photo are creative, and though dad has always been a fan of the darker hues he's found lately that he likes the fantasy setting most. Happy weekend to you.
ReplyDeleteMom Jackie, I, Katie would be so happies to be included in the hop. Fanks you.

It is always impawtant to check our "puffing up" abilities. You have to make certain they work when you need them. We like both versions of your art, especially when blown up to full screen. The colors and textures are gorgeous. Happy Caturday. XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy and Sawyer
ReplyDeleteIt's furry hard to decide. We love both versions of your art. Well - maybe just a slight preference for #2.
ReplyDeleteI bet your peeps always felt safe with you boys on guard!
ReplyDeleteThat was a cute flashback. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteEric was right: plastic bags are a terrible intrusion. Into the rubbish bin with it. Well done, Eric.
ReplyDeleteAwesome flashback! Nothing wrong with puffing up at that plastic bag ... it clearly did not beling in your field, Eric and Flynn!
ReplyDeleteThose bags are Bad News. Äiti was doing a happy dance when she read your comment, and I shall be on postman-watch! And no one cares what times are on jigsaws - it is the pleasure of doing them - the longer it takes, the more pleasure it is!
